Shulton made our car buying experience not just painless, but thoroughly enjoyable. He asked questions about our needs and actually LISTENED to what we had to say. He understood that money was a primary concern and never tried to upsell us on anything—in fact, he kept asking me several times if I was sure I wanted the upgraded trim package.

Overall, Shulton and the team at Hendrick Toyota Scion North Charleston did a great job of helping us not into one, but TWO new vehicles. Their patience with my endless questions made this a stress-free transaction. Shulton followed up with us after the sale, made sure we understood all the features of our new cars and expressed his appreciation of our business.

Bottom line--we feel extremely good about our purchases and have no worries that we 'over bought'.

Brandon Sorenson and the team at Hendrick Toyota Scion North Charleston were AMAZING!!! I cannot say enough about my experience with your dealership. Brandon was able to get me into a brand new 2013 Corolla and I could not be happier with my purchase. Brandon was friendly and polite throughout our visit. I really liked the fact he knew the features of the cars we were looking at. He answered all our questions in detail. They are horrible in customer service once the deal is done. When trying to purchase the vehicle with cash, it took them 2 1/2 hours to process the paperwork and still had to return the next day. Once I left, I had a couple of major issues with the brake system and door lock and they said, sorry, you only warrantied the powertrain. I also got an e-mail from Sheba Veasey - Customer Relations Department and JR Reihl - General Sales Manager thanking me. When I replied back to them asking them a question, they never replied back. I e-mailed Dwight Huell asking him the same question and he never replied back either. I called him a week later asking him if he had gotten the e-mail and he said, I haven't even checked my e-mail's.

Great customer service folks. Last time I will purchase a car from you.

We felt the price we paid was fair. Also, we felt the amount offered for trade-in was fair. Working with Torey to arrive at a selling price was a pleasant experience. Service was good and we look forward to doing business with Herrick Toyota in the future.

This was my first time dealing with a car dealership and I was definitely nervous of the stereotypical salesman attitude and pushy-ness, but that was all squashed as soon as I met John and the gentleman shadowing him. My mother and I told them which Toyota I was looking at and as soon as we were done test driving, they got to work on getting it down to a payment I could afford. Then the awesomeness that is Haven Greer came next. She got us in and out faster than you could believe. She was a doll to work with and I must say, Hendrick, you better keep that one! I will definitely be sending friends and family to Hendrick in the future! You guys are awesome and I look forward to our future relationship!

Helpful and straightforward overall. Frankly I was talking to two different dealers, and my dealings with the internet sales team at Hendrick was by far more pleasant than my dealings with the other merchant. I got a very good car at an excellent price, and I'm glad to have dealt with Hendrick.

This was our second buying experience, although our first since the dealership went under the Hendrick group. In 2006, we bought a brand new Toyota Tundra pick up from this dealership and have had all our services done there. We are always treated fairly, never pressured, and always get offered discounts on future service visits.

We returned last night with financing in hand to look at pre owned Camry's. While test-driving the base model pre-owned, we were offered the chance to look at a brand new and assured the prices were comparable.

We bought a brand new 2012 Camry for only a few thousand dollars more than the pre-owned and it had more of the features that were really important to us. We were never pressured, just given information and the opportunity to thoroughly look over the inventory.

We will return again and again for service and our vehicle purchases. There is simply no reason to exhaust ourselves anywhere else.

In july I bought a 2009 Honda Civic Si 4dr sedan. The salesman was excellent and the buying process went well. No complaints there. However when I drove the car home for the first time it had trouble going into 4th gear and when I was admiring my "new" car To my dismay I noticed both fog light lenses were cracked. So the next day I took the car back. What upsets me and the reason for the "2" overall rating is the fact that during the buying process I was told "the car went through a rigorous 140(?) point inspection" but somehow they missed a bad tranny and broken fog lights. I know I shouldn't have "trusted" the dealer but in dealing with a "big" name dealer we all tend to feel more secure in the quality of what we purchase. So thats my complaint and I didn't get my car back for 2 weeks. To the dealers credit they did fix all that was wrong with the car(though I had to "twist their arm" about the fog lights)without any added cost to me.
But my point is they shouldn't have had to........ Failure on the part of the service dept. to properly inspect a used vehicle intended for sale!
