We love the Herzog-Meier Volvo service department! Doug Smith is the BEST advisor we have ever had. We have purchased 8 Volvos, in a couple of different states, and the best service we have ever received has been right here at our Herzog-Meier dealership/service. Doug is always pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. From e-mail reminders about upcoming appointments to updates on how service is going to when the work is done and time to pick it up, I know I don't have to worry- Doug is taking care of everything for us as though it was his own car. With Doug in charge, I am confident the work will be done right the first time. (and returned clean as well :) We would never bring our Volvos anywhere else for service.,

Very professional and quick staff. Even on a Saturday the service team was willing to drop me off at the shopping center, while I was waiting. This was a nice gesture considering they would have gone out of their way to get me there because the shuttle was not running on Saturday. I also live in Astoria, Or which is a two hour drive away and I will continue bringing my car there for service work. I should have bought my Volvo from herzog Meier sales team. Within a couple days of purchasing a used Volvo, i was contacted by Douglas Smith to alert me of a pending warranty issue and they wanted to get me scheduled right away to get it taken care of. We set up an appointment date, he was very clear on the phone that he would need the car for 4hours and he arranged for me to use a loaner car. I got to the dealership and a service employee opened the door for me as I approached, wished me a good morning and a smile - the guy behind the counter was Douglas Smith who acknowledged me by name and had all the paperwork ready to go. He just needed a couple of signatures and I would be on my way with a (equal in quality of my own car) loaner full of fuel. He also asked if I would like my car washed while they had it - I had a smarty pants answer of "what's that gonna cost me?" He said its a courtesy, we will wash your car when we are done and you'll get your car back all clean. WOW, very impressive. It was a great experience, your team if VERY friendly - I have been to many other dealerships for service and have NEVER been treated this politely. I live in Vancouver, WA and this is quite a drive for me to go to this dealership - in fact, passing a much closer dealership with less than attentive employees. I will forever bring my Volvo to Herzog-Meier for Service. Thank you for making this such a great experience Doug Smith. You and the rest of your team have earned a customer for life.

My vehicle was towed to Herzog-Meier Volvo after having a CEL pop up while driving on the highway. They took every step to make sure that the car was right after the work was completed and ensured I was completely happy when I took the car home. Plus, they ever washed it for free! Doug was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend dealing directly with him. I'll be sure to return to Herzog-Meier Volvo for all my Volvo needs. Thanks Doug!

ALLAN AND DOUG - always smiles, professional and on top of things! THEY EVEN CHANGED MY CARS FAILED LAMP LIGHT THEMSELVES IN MINUTES - NO CHARGE. My Volvo was due for its 90,000 mile check-up. Allan Crandall, Volvo Service Manager, called me to remind me that it was due. Talking to Allan is like talking to your best friend, even if you have not had contact with him for a year or two it talks to you like it was yesterday. They had a brand new Volvo CX60 ready as my loaner and I hardly got to the service desk when Allan was handing me the keys to the loaner and off I went. Allan called later to tell me what additional service I would need and made sure I understood what needed to be done. When I picked up my car it was washed, running perfectly and I left knowing that I could call Allan with any questions or concerns. Excellent service and Great Staff.

What a great experience it is just to walk into the service department. Douglas and Alan are like rays of sunshine beaming from behind the counter. My day could have only been improved by my loaner car being a private jet to take me to Bora Bora for a day of scuba diving. Perhaps next time I will ask.

Last Friday afternoon while I was getting my Volvo filled with gasoline at a local service station, my fuel filler door became inoperable. I needed to get it fixed because the fuel filler door wouldn't shut. At the time, I thought that the best I could probably expect would be a temporary fix given that it was Friday afternoon. I was wrong. I took my car to the Herzog-Meier Volvo service department, they acted quickly and I had my car back with a permanent fix in less than 30 minutes. Great service! Thanks to Doug Smith and the service technician.

Volvo repaired the sunroof on our S80 after it exploded in the air dryer at a car wash for free. They handled it quickly and were very kind when talking to us about the issue. They spoke to the car wash company too for us. We couldn't be more pleased with the results. The experience with this kind of issue was very scary inside the car wash and having Volvo step up and reassure us that all will be fine, was comforting.
