My Review of Honda North:
I first took my car in because it was making a loud, almost thunderous sound when I slowed down below 5 mph. They took all day and they told me that it was because my catalytic converter needed to be replaced. I'll be honest when I say I am not the most knowledgable on the topic of how a cars work, but it seemed odd that was the cause of this loud churning sound. So they replaced it.
Two weeks later I am in Las Vegas driving home and as soon as I leave the city, I hear this thunderous roar every second of every mile on the way home praying it would stop. It made me incredibly nervous and almost stayed the night in Mojave. But I plugged along and took a chance that I would make it home. Luckily I did.
The next day I politely called them to see if I could bring it in because the problem wasnt rectified. They rudely told me that they were booked and couldnt see me till next week. This irked me so I had my car towed in. They were very rude to me and talked down to my wife and myself. Then they said the reason for the sound was because the brake pads needed to be replaced. Once again, this didnt make sense to me. But they claimed this was the reason why it was making loud sounds. Even so, why didnt they tell me that the first time I brought it in? So they did the work, acted like I was a crazy and bent me over for a total of $1500 for the catalytic converter and brake pads. I will never go back for obvious reasons and hope no else experiences what I did.
