My Review of Honda of Essex:
This has to be the worst Honda dealership EVER. It is a nice enviorment inside compared to the other Honda dealerships I've been to. The salesman, a European guy, couldnt spell anything on my license to the sales sheet. I had my credit union call earlier to see if they had a Black Fit base automatic, when i get to the dealership they only had Blue Fit Sport automatic. I was very angered with this dealership, when me and my father are waiting to get help after this the Sales Manager comes over and says that if we put down $500 they will get the car I want, because they have to trade the Fit Sport to another dealership. I was like "WHAT THE F**K" I could just go to another dealership and get a better deal and the car i want with no money down. Everyone I know who has a Honda, I let them know about this dealership and to stay away from this place. The only good offer they have going is FREE TIRES FOR LIFE!! If it wasnt for this RUDE AND HORRIBLE SALES service I would buy a Honda from them, but I will NEVER go back. The Sales Manager was an Asian guy and salesman again was European

My Review of Honda of Essex:
I got lured in by a false add. Called to check on it be for I drove over an hour. But got suckered in. All the cars seemed to be in poor shape. He manager was not accommodating at all and very pompous. Said basically if you don't buy it someone else will. He didn't like not having the upper hand. Because he wasted my time, I did it back and took another test drive in a car I didn't want!

My Review of Honda of Essex:
I tried to buy a CRV at this dealership, met with hostility when I tried to offer a trade in, then a take-it-or-leave it attitude from the saleman and his "manager" for the car at full sticker price.

It reminded me of the old days when Hondas were so hot that the dealers were rude to customers,they feel they will sell the cars eventually. I think there are a lot of other equally good products, maybe Honda needs their loyal customers to look elsewhere.

My Review of Honda of Essex:
Friend owned a 2000 Honda Prelude S with factory warranty. Engine failure caused by lack of proper maintenance despite warranty. Despite visible and dangerous wear to the timing belt tensioner, it was not replaced. <br> <br>Blamed failures on aftermarket air filter and other poor excuses despite all used products being CARB approved and SEMA certified. Eventual agreed to service the car.<br><br>Initial engine rebuild on failed because of incompetence of the service people there. Sloppy work resulted in engine failure within a short time after initial return of the car. They claimed engine was fine despite obvious evidence to the contrary. Honda USA was contacted and their representative finally resolved the issue by overseeing the work done on a new engine rebuild. Honda of Essex is Essux.
