My Review of Honda of New Rochelle:
They are crooks, plain and simple, they promised me one price on a Hybrid then tried to dupe me into paying more, saying it had something to do with my credit. They made me wait over a month for the car to come in and then on the day I was supposed to pick it up they told me the price had changed, never bothering to tell me about before this. They also knew I had a previous lease that had to be turned in and knew I would be in a difficult position.

I gave them many different options in terms of paying a bit more for this car than originally promised even got a co-signer for the loan, since they said it was a credit issue. That still didn't get them to sell me the car. They had me call Honda Financial Services who said it was a dealer issue and not theirs, financial was not helpful either. I came to find out that they sold this car to someone else for a higher price. I spent the better part of 5 days on the phone trying to figure this out, the only recourse consumers like you and I have it to rate them on sites like this and call corporate (1-800-999-1009), even though corporate can't do much initially it will affect their rating over all and they may not get the newest cars first etc. Every complaint that is documented goes against them.

Stay away from this dealer, I actually wound up buying a non Honda product and also had to pay another $400 dollars to extend me lease because of this dealership's actions. They also still owe me the initial deposit I put down and have yet to return it. They are crooks, liers and cheats do not go to this dealership, I wish I had checked this site before going there!

My Review of Honda of New Rochelle:
Stay away from Honda of New Rochelle, they are totally not worth your time and money. This is my true experience. I wish I had read this online forum before I went – everything said here was repeated in my experience:
- I was emailing a couple of dealerships to negotiate price for a Honda CR-V. They called me to say they can offer an attractive price and they have 0% financing.
- I and my husband each called them several times speaking with different personnel to verify that the 0% financing is available for a Honda CR-V, since we heard from other dealerships that they offer 0% for models of Honda cars other than CR-V, since CRV is a hot car. New Rochelle said yes.
- We went, and of course, that was just a gimmick to get people to their dealership. We expressed our anger. The manager offered an additional $100 discount. And since we already made the trip there, and we have been shopping around for a while we believe their price was reasonable, we signed the contract. They promised the car is in delivery and will arrive during the next 3-4 days.
- Then started the long waiting: 1 week, no car arrived; 2nd week, no car arrived. I needed the car to drive to my new job starting the following week, so I could not wait any longer. I called them repeatedly, they kept saying it’s arriving soon – it’s a delivery problem. That’s when I started getting suspicious and googled “Honda New Rochelle”. Alas, did I find a lot people with similar experience! They would sign a contract to take a customer “off the market”, to keep them from buying a car from other dealerships. Then they will deny the delivery using all kinds of excuses.
- I don’t want to risk not having a car to drive to work, so bought a Honda from another dealership. They agreed to cancel the contract due to their inability to deliver. No compensation was offered. They were also very slow in sending back our deposit money. I had to call a couple of times to have the check sent back to me. We will see if they keep their promise this time! (If they eventually don’t send it back, I am fully prepared to take further actions against them).
This is my experience, bloody and true. So if you want to do yourself a favor, skip this dealership and move on to another. If you call them, on their phone greeting message, they are still taunting the May Day 0% financing for Every Honda car. Blant and thick-skinned liar. Don’t trust them and don’t go. And tell anyone you know who are considering this dealership to stay away from them. You will be grateful that you did.

My Review of Honda of New Rochelle:
Salesman Chris was quick efficient and helpful, Damian was the same and helpful, Lou seemed to be helpful but ultimately did not care and lied and misled me the whole time and did the transaction knowing it was not to be done. Chris Manager polite, quick, and pleasant. The hi light is Fiannian not sure if that is how you spell his name. He went above and beyond to do the job, that Lou did not do. He is a real commander. I found out later that Lou never informed anyone that the car was being shipped out. Which according to their guidelines they can not do. Can you believe the police had to get involved. Can you believe that as I was an angry customer stormed out of the dealership I have this big beast of a man LOU chaseing me out. Literally running after me with his hand in the air. I could not jump in my car fast enough and get out of there. I left skid marks driving away. This is not a car dealer but a mafia ring. All this because I paid for a car cash and he would not give me the title as he is required to do. For gosh sakes I only brought the car the day before and left my check there fully paid for the night before. He told me he would definitly have my ttle, and gave me his word as the General manager of the store. Come to find out he is not the general manager of the store he is only the Used car manager which explains that I should have never trusted him from the moment I met lou he did noting but lie. Avoid him at all cost. I would not recommend this dealer but if decide to go deal with fiannian, the real General Manager of the store.

My Review of Honda of New Rochelle:
Friendly, but nothing else than bait-n-switch. Not worth my time.

Emailed back and forth with one of the internet managers (Freddy Pacheco). Their quote was decent to begin with (2008 Odyssey EX), and via e-mail/phone calls they agreed to beat/match another dealer's quote which was $600 less than original quote. Up to this point, all was good: fast replies, friendly, etc.

Every time I emailed/called, I asked about in-stock vehicles, the response was that they had "several in stock & multiple colors". I even checked with them before leaving home to go to dealer. Once I got there, I was told that they had no cars on stock, and that it would take 4-6 weeks to get them.

Not worth my time, nor yours. There are other dealers willing to let you know up front their stock is limited (3,4 cars), and will work with you for short time frames to get the car you want within a few days (not 4-6 weeks).

I Purchased a car from Honda Of New Rochelle. I reside in Long Island, I have been to numerous car dealerships in long Island, Brooklyn , and Queens. But I must say I never thought it would be so easy and quick to get a car. I would like to inform you that I was helped by Damian Corbett. he made it so easy and quick and reaasured me all the way through the transaction.

My Review of Honda of New Rochelle:
Avoid this dealership. They are dishonest & they really do not care about the customer. General manger not helpful, he also does not care. I was aggrevated and have filed several complaints against this dealership. The consumer needs to be protected & treated properly. They try to change figures in the paperwork then bully you to pay or else you will not get your car. I was able to get my car because I called the police.

Use another dealership and warn anyone that you can.

My Review of Honda of New Rochelle:
The dealer ripped me off. They didn't tell me about the $2K dealer incentive fees and I eneded up paying $2K too much for the car. In addition the car was damaged prior to delivery and I didn't see it until 2 days after picking the car up. They tried to repaint it once, and it looks like crap, now it is in the body shop a second time. I would not recommend these guys.

My Review of Honda of New Rochelle:
The price I got from them beat others by $400.
It was no hassle internet price quote.
Other dealers were telling me that the price I got was wrong or it was for used/demo model.
But they were WRONG!
I got a brand new 2007 Odyssey ex-l and the color I wanted!
I was very happy with the price and the Odyssey(it's a great mini van!)!
Must try this dealer!!!

My Review of Honda of New Rochelle:
I've gone here for basic service 3 times: 2 oil changes and a front license-plate bracket installation (I moved into NY from a state that didn't require front plates, so I never had the holder). In all three cases, something was worse afterward.

They've scratched my vinyl, stained my upholstery with grease, applied inspection stickers sloppily, and blatantly disregarded my instructions. And while the desk people are nice, some of the service people have told me many lies in attempts to get me to bring my car in for service more often.

I'm going to White Plains for my next oil change. It can't be any worse.
