My Review of Honda on Grand:
I could not say enough good things about Bob Swanson, my sales associate at Honda on Grand in Elmhurst. It is so rare today to find someone who actually does his job, and does it so well. Bob's prior experience in auto service is a big help in discussing the vehicles. He shoots straight and gave me a fair deal online, right off the bat. He treated me respectfully and did not waste my time.

Finance was equally straight forward and efficient. I spent about 15 minutes signing paperwork (I did not finance through them, but gave them a check via Eloan) and the process went very smoothly.

Bob was exceptionally thorough with explaining all the features of the CRV. I am happy I decided to buy from Bob. He followed up after the sale to make sure I didn't have any more questions, and said he would call in another 10 days just to make sure I was still pleased.

My Review of Honda on Grand:
I went to this dealership to get a price to see how it compared to a price I'd received from another dealership. I spoke to a sales manager (I think his name was David, gray hair, older gentleman) and he REFUSED to give me a price.

He said he could "beat the price" given to me by the other dealer but he would not give me a hard dollar amount. I left the dealership, never to return. I purchased my Accord at another dealership.

I was shopping. That's why I went to different dealerships -- to compare prices. Since Honda on Grand did not want to participate in my shopping they did not end up participating in my purchase. I will never return to this dealership.

My Review of Honda on Grand:
I was disgusted with the old ownership and management of Grand Honda so we did not use the dealership for service. Just recently I discovered that this dealership was under new management and decided to revisit the dealership in the hopes that the business practices had changed. To my disappointment the dealership changed management, but did not change its practices.
