My Review of Hyundai Of Tempe:
I received a letter informing me that my new vehicle was due for an oil change - it has already been done (in Oct.) and not entered into my records at idriveonline. This, coupled with the oil change taking over two hours, leads me to believe that we are not really off to a good start.

My Review of Hyundai Of Tempe:
I had a great experience at this dealership. I had visited another Hyundai Dealership in the Valley and they treated me so poorly that I left. As a single woman shopping for a car alone I would recommend Hyundai of Tempe to other women. I was treated with respect and felt that I got a good deal. Everyone I encountered was friendly and very professional.

My Review of Hyundai Of Tempe:
I recently visited Hyundai of Tempe and purchased a used 2008 Santa Fe. During test driving, etc was told it was an SE model. After purchasing realized it was a GLS. While I realize I should have paid better attention to the paperwork, this wasn't something I thought I needed to double check. Throughout negotiations, let myself slip and was confused by them increasing the amount they gave me for my trade in, while not decreasing the base amount of the car i was buying. Once again, my fault, but tricky salesmanship. During the time we were negotiating I mentioned that they had listed some Santa Fes on their website for somewhere in the 15,000 range. Supposedly the one I was buying was not one of those, they didn't have the color I wanted for that car for the deal, etc. So, I paid 17,280 for my Santa Fe being told that was the lowest they could go. After having dealt all day with car dealers (this being my last) I gave in since I really liked the car. After getting home, looked at their website and the model number and vin they sold me is in fact one of the ones offered on their website for $15,988. I will be returning to talk to them about this on Monday as they are closed today and it is too late now. My advice, do not deal with this dealership. I will update once I talk to them about fixing the bad price they gave me since they had advertised my specific car for less.

My Review of Hyundai Of Tempe:
Originally we were looking for a Hyundai Elantra. This dealership actually helped us figure out that we should just come up with the extra $1000 and buy a Toyota instead. (Besides, the Toyota's resale value will be a lot higher than the Hyundai's anyway).

Much like another poster on here, when we gave a price the salesman flew into a rage. I kept my cool and headed for the door. Surprisingly he kept after us and screamed his head off all the way out the door.

A small suggestion to you salespeople out there:
If a customer gives you a figure that you feel like is absolutely ridiculous, say so and ASK for them to come up with a better number. Be honest with them and calmly tell them that the figure they present is not attractive to you to sell the car to them. Give them a chance to work with you and "wheel and deal". Yelling or screaming at a customer upsets all the other customers in your shop, and will definitely cause that person to attempt to tell as many other people as possible about their experience.
