My Review of IRA Audi / IRA Porsche:
Ira Audi has always treated me and my family with friendliness and respect. We have bought several cars from Ira Audi over the years, and not only has the sales department made it easy to do business but service has always been so courteous and helpful. We love Audis and wouldn't go anywhere else to buy or service them.

My Review of IRA Audi / IRA Porsche:
I agree with the previous poster that the service department is condescending.

Trying to rent a car proved to be futile while the Ira rental people fawned over the Lexus customers.

That is about the most positive thing I can say about the Ira experience. Why does this site require that we give a dealer a rating of at least one? Zero would be more appropriate.

My Review of IRA Audi / IRA Porsche:
Right headlight bulb replacement: couldn't see right side of road well enough, returned to dealer, waited, finally a mechanic informed me he had checked, "all according to specs and normal" meaning it was my imagination. Adult children agreed with me. Finally went to Nashua NH dealer who reported "bulb had been installed incorrectly and he'd fixed. That evening proved he was right. Illumination restored. I've found IRA too impersonal, more attention paid by personnel to each other, feel as if I the customer am interupting their work. Women receptionists appropriately polite/responsive. Men at desks: condescending to customers, seemingly busy and preoccupied with higher priority work, zero concern for customer.

My Review of IRA Audi / IRA Porsche:
I brought my A4 in for a shifter problem. They fixed it, however when I leaving the lot, I noticed a huge decrease in power. I thoughtit was from the cold, it was around 0 degrees. But it stayed the same. I brought it back, and the next day they said it was a thingamajig and it would cost $400. I said go F yourself, the problem didn't exist when I brought it in. They called back said they gave a wrong diagnostic, and it was something in the airflow they would do for free. Shounds like a scam to me.<br>John

My Review of IRA Audi / IRA Porsche:
Warranty or non-waaranty, these guys are horrible. They failed to diagnose numerous problems with 2000 TT. On a non-warranty service, they returned the car with the Check Engine, Air Bag, and other warnings lights flashing. They also broke the External Temperatue sensor. They failed to correct a problem with the Mass Airflow Sensor. I went to another dealer after the waranty expired to finally solve the problem (an $800 fix), They never fixed the rattle in the back of the car and just laughed at my repeated complaints. I would strongly suggest avoiding this service department.

My Review of IRA Audi / IRA Porsche:
excerpt from letter to Audi America..<br>....I went well out of my way to bring my car to Ira Porsche/Audi for repair of an unsteady speedometer and a buzzing speaker, driving from the New Hampshire seacoast to Danvers, MA. Assumptions of competence and service have since been proven absurdly false. The following is a summary of what amounts to the most frustrating experience I have ever had with an automobile &#8220;repair&#8221;.<br><br>26 April - dropped the car off on 27 April, the evening before the appointed day. <br>27 April - car was not looked at on the appointed day &#8230;&#8221;very hectic&#8230;other cars&#8230;&#8221;<br>28 April &#8211; diagnosed as sensor, part not in stock <br>29 April &#8211; have to call to get status at end of day&#8230;&#8221;very delicate procedure&#8230;need to be careful of magnet inside &#8221;<br>2May &#8211; no call. I call later in afternoon. &#8220;sensor didn&#8217;t fix it&#8230;need ring gear&#8230; must order&#8230;two days&#8221;<br>4 May &#8211; no call. I call later in afternoon. &#8220; they (Parts Dept ?)didn&#8217;t tell us it was ordered from Texas&#8230;&#8221; hapless victim routine&#8230;<br>6 May &#8211; I call for status &#8220;they are having trouble getting the side-plate off the transmission&#8230;things are coming apart as they should&#8230;just a matter of time&#8221; and then later &#8220;we just got it together&#8230;I&#8217;m waiting for my Service Manager to test drive it&#8230;will call you back&#8221;&#8230;two hrs later&#8230;&#8221;sorry for bad news&#8230;that didn&#8217;t fix it&#8230;need to order an instrument cluster&#8230;.need a copy of your drivers license and a credit card&#8230;.high theft item&#8230;.we want to deliver you a rental car&#8221; I comply with the request for license and credit card.<br>11 May &#8211; get a call from dealership. &#8220;the car is done, and will deliver the car, BUT, we need to re-code your other keys, so you will have to come down. I offer to be there by 4:30, but they can&#8217;t promise to do the re-coding procedure in the &#189; -hr I can afford. <br>12 May &#8211; I leave work early to be at the dealership in time for them to perform the re-coding. Finally, I have the keys and get into my car. I had driven no more than 3-mile when the speedometer started fluctuating. It was not fixed. Infuriated, I went back to the dealership and vented at the Service Manager. I am not an angry or violent person &#8211; not even close to type-A &#8211; but the level of frustration they invite is staggering. The Service Manager asked to have the car back to &#8220;make it right&#8221;. I refused. I have no confidence that: 1) they are capable of fixing it and 2) I would not be frustrated by them any further. Detailing the car and delivering it to my home were supposed to be compensation for otherwise shoddy service<br><br>Finally, the speaker still buzzes and the cosmetic detailing they promised was not done. (In fact, there are grease smears on the armrests and the instrument cluster) And the rental car received on 6 May arrived with a glove compartment full of used tissues. Yes, that is disgusting.<br><br>I write this, as a matter of therapy as much as anything since there is no way I would return to Ira Porsche/Audi. It would be in your interest, however, to conduct a thorough audit of their service department. They are not performing to the premium standards the Audi marque represents. Perhaps help from Audi America would serve to raise their service and professionalism to an acceptable level. <br><br>In the mean time, I will try the dealership in Dover, NH, and sincerely hope that they can resolve these seemingly minor issues in a timely and professional manner. <br>
