i got beat for 3000 dollars with this place. i found out that they care about how important your money is to you and will sell you a lemon and promise you its a good car. I got a land rover from them and the trans started slipping a week later so i took it back and they gave me a bmw.. now.. i had to come back to get some paperwork and saw a lady driving off in the same landrover. i felt so bad for her.. then the bmw radiator blew up on me a week later. they could care less. as is IS all they would say

I bought a car from these people, they offered to repair some problem, I signed and they did not honored their word, I end
with a LEMON that, did not pass the inspection, I had to expend almost the same value of the car to pass the inspection, they
lied to me in everything, If you want to buy a car from them, bring your mechanic with you, they are not honest people.

American Public Auto Auction (also known as DMV Motors) sells used cars at seemingly bargain prices. But if you're going to risk buying from them be certain you either really know about cars, or you bring a professional mechanic to come along with you (or make them---they won't agree to it---allow you to take the car to be inspected).

I got a (seemingly) great deal on a car, but upon bringing it for a check up, it need more than $3000 in work. APAA (or DMV Motors) has SPRAY PAINTED the tires. REALLY LOOK OUT FOR THAT. That will cost you big time. Also, they don't put buyers guides on the car windows. Instead, they have you sign it when you buy, AS-IS. Nothing comes with a warranty although they advertise it. So buy at your own risk!
