My Review of Independence Honda:
Would discuss NO numbers over the phone initially. The way every question was fielded through the unseen/unnamed Business Manager (reminiscent of the Wizard of Oz), what should have taken minutes took hours to find out.<br><br>Although I test-drove a standard/manual CR-V, was originally presented a quote that was the cost of automatic (although the quote was just hand-written numbers, nothing itemized). When my parents received a much lower quote and questioned the difference, I received a friendly phone call apologizing. That was just the tip of the iceberg. <br><br>The irony is if they had not wasted my time and tried to rip me off, our bottom lines were $179 away from each other. They COULD have had an immediate sales.<br><br>It was a relief to find another Honda dealer in the general area (Burne Honda from Scranton, PA) who apparently had nothing to hide and seemed eager to save both his time and mine! Ended up buying a non-Honda (&quot;Buy American&quot; husband) but will definitely go to Burne next time!
