My Review of Infiniti of Manhattan:
Post-sales was another nightmare (car inspection sticker, title, DIRTY brand-new car, etc.), but I'll describe the service here.

I had asked prior to purchase (new car) whether it had the steering column recall already done (researched through Edmunds.com), and was told it was. 2 weeks after purchase, the steering column's telescope broke (doesn't telescope and makes grinding noise, which is exactly what the recall fixes).

After bringing in the car to be examined, service technician said the recall was somehow missed and promised to call within a week to verify replacement part arrived. No call came; I had to call a week later to verify it had arrived, only to be told by the same tech that he had no idea what I was talking about until 10 minutes of rediscussion jogged his memory and find the part had indeed arrived.

Upon dropping off the car for service at the scheduled time, the service technician took 40 minutes to come to the service center to verify the work to be done (the service manager had to page him at least 5 times).

After the car was picked up, the steering column was fixed (amazingly), but the "complimentary car wash" (as noted on the receipt) left only finger smudges all over the car (obviously, there was no car wash) AND there were dirty smudges on the roof lining of the car!

Needless to say, I will NEVER use this dealer again!

Update:
After the steering column was replaced, the seat-memory setting for the steering wheel does not work: Toggling between setting 1 & 2 moves only the seats & outside mirrors, no longer the steering wheel. I have less than 1500 miles...

Employee(s) Dealt With: Sabrina, Jack, Nicholas samuel

My Review of Infiniti of Manhattan:
This is a horrible dealership and it filters throughout the ranks. I solicited quotes from dealerships in the NY , NJ area for leasing. They never sent an offer but continued aggresively to pursue a relationship...so I sent out an email informing them of my offer and suggested that they contact me if they were interested and could compete. As a resident of Manhattan I would have given them the deal as it was my home turf.My contact was Sabrina who had Jack Littlefield contact me I ran through every lease detail and he assured me that they would match the deal. I made an appt. Well, both these characters were not allowed out of the back room from a "call center" (whatever that was) and I instructed to wait for a rep by a rather tacky front secretary who barely looked up. Our sales rep (Nicholas Samuel) who had the exact info on our appt and prior offer claimed he needed to see our contract offer w/ his competition stating our offer. What!!! I showed him the email correspondence which he deemed unexceptable. I have no problem if they cloose not to compete with internet offers if that is their policy but to blantantly decieve customers just to get another warm body in is pathetic.. Stay away from this dealership. Their review ratings are awful and I wasted an afternoon......so will you... Email Anthony Grant at PEPE Infinity in White Plains NY who will give you a professional offer and stick by it(and a great deal) and treat you like a valued customer.
