My Review of Infiniti of Santa Monica:
Greedy - They will overcharge you if they can... or in one word, complete rip-off. I have brought my '07 G35 in twice for warranty items. The first time, at about 12,000 miles, they told me both my rear tires had nails in them and must be replaced because they were close to the side walls - I declined and had the nails removed at a professional tire store and tires repaired - have 30,000 miles on the car now and still good tires... would never spend $500 to replace 2 tires if I did not have to!

The other experience is that I brought the car in to replace moulding on the window, they said they had to order the piece and call me when it was ready, but that was 3 months ago and never heard from them.

Just received one of their mailers to urge me to bring the car in for one of their 30,000 mile service specials for $459.95 - when you read it, it really only includes an oil change and a bunch of checking. My independent mechanic proudly charges me a total $40.00 for this.

This is the boldest rip off joint I have ever come across!

My Review of Infiniti of Santa Monica:
After countless hours of researching dealerships to purchase the 2008 G35, I ended up buying from Infiniti of Santa Monica. I must note that I spoke to at least 5 local dealerships to get pricing quotes, etc. before choosing Santa Monica. I received a good feeling from Mike @ Riverside Infiniti and Clint @ Cerritos, but received the best service from Philip Day @ Santa Monica. The main reasons were, Philip didn't have that "salesman" approach to his service and he offered to match/beat competitor quotes and followed up by sending email documentation to validate the quote when signing - however there are other reasons that added to the great experience with Santa Monica. First off, Philip was down to earth, honest, easy to talk to, and he used ZERO "sleazy" sales tactics to earn my business. Additionally, I was already preapproved for my loan at a high interest rate of 7.4%, Philip worked his magic with Elizabeth (Financing) to get me approved for the 2.9% (@ 60 months).

When I showed up at the Santa Monica dealership to see my car (they had to do dealer trade, no cost) and complete signing, this is where the whole "car-buying" experience was great. Philip greeted me with a smile and handshake to get started. He then sat me down for a short chat and to review the car's details, then escorted by to Elizabeth in Financing where we went over terms, etc. Elizabeth was GREAT! Not pushy, soft spoken, personable and really cared about making sure I was well informed about the financing and available options. She is by far the best dealership financing rep I have ever dealt with!! After I finished with Elizabeth, she and Philip escorted me to Joyce Beale, the Retailer Delivery Coordinator. Joyce's job was to fully inform me about the car's functionality. Joyce was awesome! VERY personable and patient. When Joyce escorted me to the car, she congratulated me with a handshake and a pat on the back! We reviewed the car's condition to insure no scratches, dings, etc. I did find a small scratch on the shift knob and before I could further comment, Joyce ran inside to speak with Steve the General Manager to resolve this. Steve came out to the car with Joyce and personally changed out the scratched shift knob with a brand new one.

Overall, I highly recommend Infiniti of Santa Monica. Philip Day, Joyce Beale and Elizabeth (finance) made this whole experience a memorable one. I am going to hand-write a letter to Steve (GM) to thank him and his whole team for their stellar sales service.

I hope this review was helpful in providing contrast to others who claim bad experiences with this dealership. My best advice, do your homework/research and come to the dealership with documented quotes to guarantee yourself a positive car-buying experience. Be prepared, a good car salesman will eat you up if you come un-prepared.

My Review of Infiniti of Santa Monica:
I'm quite surprised by other's impressions of the dealer as my experience has been extremely positive. My calls and emails have been responded to promptly and positively and the dealer has gone out of their way to make sure they are available to me for anything further required.

Most new car dealers are your best friend right up to and including that moment you sign the docs and take delivery of your new ride. It is shortly thereafter that you mysteriously become someone they've never heard of and can't seem to find your telephone number anywehere. That has not been the case with Infiniti of Santa Monica since the recent purchase of my new G37. They have followed through every step of the way with not only the due-bill items, but also calls from the General Manager just to see how things are going and to offer to help as needed.

I bought a car that is in high demand and not being discounted anywhere in California, so while my rating for "Price" is average, had I been willing to buy one of the previous model year G35's that they had in stock, I found them MORE than willing to negotiate on that.

My Review of Infiniti of Santa Monica:
They had sponsered a local event that I was involved in in Santa Monica, I stopped in a few days later and felt very comfortable dealing with them. I shopped by my home for the same vehicle and found them to not be concerned about me, just selling a car. I returned to Santa Monica and took delivery of a new M45.

My Review of Infiniti of Santa Monica:
the service techs were horrible, or perhaps just doing there job of extracting as much money from me as possbile without actually servicing anything.
All in all, my mistake for thinking infiniti cars and their people are reliable.

My Review of Infiniti of Santa Monica:
I traded in a Mustang convertible which they ripped me off and told me it was worth less than it was.
I bought a used Porsche Boxter from them and 2 weeks after I had it I found out it had been in a wreck. Which was NOT disclosed to me at all. I called this dealer about twice a day for 2 weeks straight with no one calling me back, not even messages left for the GM.
I retained an attorney and just WON my lawsuit against this dealer. I would NEVER buy a car from them again and would advise anyone else out there to BEWARE of what you buy and from whom you buy it from. Email me if you have any questions!

My Review of Infiniti of Santa Monica:
Horrible Sales manager that gave a bad trade value. Had VPP that was set on the price of the car. Went to another dealer and was a great experience with 2k more on the trade. Beside that Santa Monica has horrible parking. We parked on the street and received a ticket. 2 strikes.

My Review of Infiniti of Santa Monica:
this guy tried to charge me for brakes that were covered by Infiniti. FYI- g35's will have their pads and rotors replaced til 35K for free. he gave some song and dance that it only was good for rear brakes. untrue!

at first i was going to get a loaner but once i called him on his BS about what he told me he said i can't get one. this guy is a joke. i laughed at him in front of everyone for trying to deceive me. i then told him i know someone who knows the owner and all of a sundden he becomes friendly. there is much more BS that i got from him that i won't write but you get the picture.

to top it off he tried to sell me a car that he was trying to flip, an old land rover with 20"inch wheels in bad shape. he told me that he bought it from some old lady. unbelievable.

this place is known for trying to rip you off and they proved it to me.
