My Review of Jeff Smith Nissan:
Bought a new vehicle last year. Didn't get the best deal, but was so tired just signed the papers. I had very good credit, yet after the purchase I noticed they went with a finance company with a HIGH interest rate. (My credit union was surprised at what the rate was because of my good credit, when I refinanced with them for much less.) Went back for a second vehicle a few months later, ended up with junk that I had to give away two months later. It isn't the salespeople so much, they seemed to be so stressed and tried hard to please, but the "finance manager" had a hard time with even a $50 dollar discount. The second vehicle was filthy and I was promised it would be cleaned. However, when I went to pick it up, I was told that if I wanted the carpet clean I should buy new carpet (not by the salesperson, but the service department). I made a previous purchase at another dealership for a vehicle costing half the price and when they presented the car at pick up it was SPOTLESS, showroom quality just as if it were a brand new purchase. Disappointed, Jeff Smith did not CARE (regardless of his motto). I feel a little sorry for the salespeople (which is why I bought the second vehicle)...hard to explain, but they don't seem to be treated very well and are pushed more noticibly than those at other dealerships (that I noticed, anyway).
The cars I've looked at have been priced higher than at other places and be careful of the internet pricing, as it can be off the actual price by as much as 8k (typo or lure?)
I just didn't feel that I was treated as a valued customer or that it mattered if I returned for a future purchase. I am not difficult to please, not demanding or even a haggler over price, usually pay pretty much what they're asking, but I just felt that I didn't get a good deal either time. It's now time to by my daughter a vehicle and will not consider Jeff Smith Nissan for the sale.
