My Review of Jim Ellis Volkswagen:
Jim Ellis delivered my 2002 Jetta 1.8T, but I have had nothing but trouble with their service department. It is impossible to schedule an appointment unless you are lucky enough to talk to the appointment rep, if you leave a voice mail, e-mail, or make an appointment on their web site you will NEVER get a response. The service personnel are rude and very unhelpful.

I never had any problems with the work that they have done, but I've decided to fire them because I can't get them to schedule my 60K service...I don't need this heartache just to give them a couple hundred dollars for service!

My Review of Jim Ellis Volkswagen:
My Volkswagen was purchased through Jim Ellis VW on Peachtree Industrial Blvd., and a salesman tried to jack up the price by pocketing the keys and trying to make us think that we were bidding against another buyer.

When the car was delivered, the dealer's prep stamp in the Owners service record had not been stamped and dated, and when I took it to the service department to get it satmped, they took a long time, and then acted like they were doing me a favor by letting me in their service area.

I haven't been back.

My Review of Jim Ellis Volkswagen:
Had a good buying experience with Gabriel at Jim Ellis. I am fairly seasoned at auto buying so slimy sales tactics do not get it with me. I told Gabriel up front what I would pay and it was a no BS transcation. One of the best dealer buying experiences I have had.

I am still using them for service and will see how it goes as time passes.

I would buy from them again provided I worked with someone as honest as Gabriel.

My Review of Jim Ellis Volkswagen:
We bought a Jetta GLX 1.8t here. During the negotiation, the salesman made a verbal offer on the car we thought was good. When we accepted, he wrote the contract differently, stating that his verbal number was on a mythical car - not the one we were discussing. Hours later we finally got the price. Only dealing with service was contentious. The bumber began to flake paint, they refused to even give us a $3 bottle of touch up paint. We sold the car.

My Review of Jim Ellis Volkswagen:
I actually tried to purchase a Volkswagen TDI Golf from both of Jim Ellis's locations but their sales staff was too hung up on themselves to even sit and discuss the transaction in a professional manner. I honestly can not understand what is wrong with people in this particular profession. I ultimately did purchase a car from another dealership but have been unable to even buy a simple oil filter from Jim Ellis because they want to add 10% onto the already expensive suggested retail price of their parts.

I have no reason to do business with the particular dealership and I do not recommend them to anyone in the VW market.
