My Review of Jim Robinson Chevy Cdllc Olds:
I went to Jim Robinson Chevrolet in search of a new car and was prepared for the price and interest rate that was quoted to me. Unlike many people who have a problem with a dealearship, mine is not due to being disgruntled by "numbers." What I found so surprising, and what led me to another dealership was the complete lack of customer service. On a Friday morning, I called and gave all pertinent information (credit check permission etc) over the phone to expedite matters. I was told they were "slammed" so things would be better if I came into the dealership. Not a problem as I wanted to test drive the car I saw online anyway. What began as a simple new car purchase became my spending 7 days...that's one full week!!... calling, and visiting the dealershop while they "played with the numbers" on te sale. My trade-in started out at one number, and by the time I walked out one week later, the value had mysteriously dropped by four thousand dollars. No explanation offered though I asked several times. The salesperson, Wit, was new on the job which I understood, but hre bungled every aspect of the sale. When the more experienced salesperson, La Ter, attempted to help him, they lost my credit information, quoted my sale using the wrong vehicle, and in the end, I realized it was more trouble than it was worth to deal with them. Instead, I visited other Chevrolet dealerships in the area, purchasing my new vehicle where they were also carrying on the the huge sale that kept Jim Robinson in such a customer relations mess. Turan Foley, my final destination, was able to tend to my sale with prompt and courteous professionalism. I completed the sale in one day. One nice little perk- they offered my children a snack and a tv to watch while we did paperwork...where the Jim Robinson folks couldn't give me a cup of water to take a much needed headache treatment! I do not recommend Jim Robinson Chevy. It was simply the single worst sales expereince of my life.
