I didn't even want to go to a Toyota Dealership. I have always been a Honda girl. I was in a very tight spot and everywhere I had went, I got cold shoulders or dealers that just didn't seem to care. Dean Hovis had been trying to get me to respond to him on an inquiry I had sent in about a used Honda I saw they had online. I ignored him and eventually he texted me. I was feeling really down by this time and very discouraged. Dean finally got me to come down to talk to him. I was very surprised that within 15 min of being there, he was taking me out to look at some cars! This was further than I had gotten all week :) Still didn't get my hopes up. Dean did for me what no one else wanted or could do. He helped my dreams come true! But it didn't stop there! Not only did he get me into a 2010 Toyota Corolla but he went out of his way to help me further with the car. He didn't have to do this, but since he has, I have become a Toyota Girl and a life long costomer to Dean ;) You Rock Dean!!

Dean and Frank are by far the BEST! No high pressured sales pitch, Dean spent all the time I needed to understand exactly what I wanted in a new vehicle. Machens went the extra mile (literally)to make sure I got what I wanted. Frank is very pleasant and knowledgable. They both made sure my buying experience was positive. I have purchased several new vehicles from Machens over the years, and their continued commitment to excellence will bring me back again.

When I decided to buy a new car I spent weeks staring at a computer screen, reading reviews and comparing prices to decide on a selection of cars I could afford and would be interested in purchasing. It was a very tedious process but it was important to me to be an informed consumer. Once I was done with the "research" stage I was very excited to go out and actually test drive some cars. That's supposed to be the fun part right??? Wrong. I visited several dealerships only to leave completely frustrated by my experience with the salesman. I felt extremely pressured by almost every single one of them. They all seemed to be more interested in how much I could spend than helping me find a car that worked for me. Just when I was about to give up and drive my old car until it died, I decided to test drive one more. I called Dean at Joe Machens and he was very polite and told me to come on over. When I got there he had the car I wanted ready for me and even had the AC running which was great because it was 100 degrees out that day. He was very patient with all of my questions and very respectful. I didn't feel pressured at all! All in all I was VERY PLEASED with my experience and have already recommended him to a few of my friends that are looking for new cars.

When we came to the dealership on Sat. I didnt know what I wanted. Taylor asked alot of good questions, had me test drive a car then a crossover. Of course I also told her I didn't want any extras on anything I buy, like leather, touch screen etc. After she spent eight hours with us never seeming like we were taking to much time, she sold us a fully loaded Venza. For a person that only trades every 11 years, and usually is very conservative she had me driving away with the vehicle of my dreams. My hat goes off to Taylor for a job well done, and we will be back to see her the next time we are in need of a new car.

I called Dean on a truck I found initially on Ebay and he was absolutely the most helpful person (not typical salesman) I had ever dealt with. I am so very thankful for his consideration..I would recommend Joe Machens to anyone.. I drove 3 hours so if that tell you anything.. So thank you Mr. Hovis for everything..

My husband and I came in looking for a larger vehicle as we expand our family. Even though we weren't able to purchase that day, Moses was very helpful in discussing the best vehicle options for us and how to get in the right position to be able to make a purchase. We were thrilled with the amount of helpful information Moses gave us and the time he spent explaining everything. So many salesmen are only interested in the bottom line and getting a sale but Moses recognized that we weren't in that position yet. We will definitely be coming back to purchase the car from him as soon as we have a down payment ready, and thanks to the time he took with us we know exactly how much to save! In these economic times when every cent counts, it really helps to go into something like this with professional advice.

We stopped by Joe Machens Toyota quite a while ago on a whim and Rafael assisted us in a very friendly, helpful and low pressure manner. We decided if we were ever going to buy a car again, we'd look Rafael up. Sure enough, a year later (July. 2011) we were in the market for a used car to replace our Toyota Sienna. Rafael went above and beyond helping us find something that we ended up being REALLY happy with. After several hours of looking at different cars Rafael found a 2009 Toyota Highlander that fit our family perfectly. He helped us get into the car at a very reasonable price and did everything he could to help us. We really felt he treated us honestly and fairly and represented everything we thought Joe Machens stood for. When we are in the market for a car again, we will definitely call Rafael and would absolutely use the Joe Machens Automotive group.

Initially called about a used Cadillac Eldorado that was listed on ebay. I talked with Dean Hovis and he was very helpful in telling me information about the car and took my offer to the sales manager. After a little negotiation a price was agreed on. I told Dean I would have to fly in from Tulsa to his store in Columbia, Missouri. Dean picked me up at the airport and his cheerful and knowledgeable sales nature was a delightful experience. The car was stunning and beyond my expectation. He went with me on the test drive and explained every aspect of the cars options. He was professional and friendly throughout the contract preparation. Frank Marcurella led me through the final contract and answered all my questions in a professional way.
Eeveryone in the store was super friendly and made my entire buying experience one I will long remember.
I highly reccomend this dealership. If you feel reluctant about buying from a dealership that is a great distance from your home, rest assured if it happens to be Joe Machens.
