My Review of Joe Panian Chevrolet Inc:
This is a brief synopsis of what happened.
I have been working with my dealership trying to find a new Avalanche. I finally found what I wanted at another dealership, Joe Panian Chevrolet. A dealer trade was worked out but when my dealer called to let them know what time her person would be there to pick it up and drop off the trade she was told the Avalanche was sold.
I called Joe Panian Chevrolet and was told the Avalanche was not sold and I put a hold on it. I chewed out my dealership but was assured that was what they were told. They called again and were told the same thing by their dealer trade person Gary. I called back yet again and was told that it was available but that if I wanted it I would have to buy it from them because they would not trade it. I told them what I thought of that.
Later Gary called my dealership back and told my salesperson that she needed to get control of her customer and that he knew what I did for a living and threatened to call my supervisor.
I called back and confronted Gary about threatening me. He tried to lie his way out of it by saying that he switched the Avalanche that he was going to trade to a different one, one that he claimed was exactly the same but it was not because it did not have a luggage rack. He also tried to claim that he never even made a deal with my dealership and that he never got any information from them on what they had to trade. I saw the information that was faxed to him so it was just another lie.
So it all breaks down to if Gary is any representation of that dealership, dishonesty, breaking deals, and switching vehicles is not out of the question. So I think you are better off staying away from there. Find a dealership that you can trust and will not to jerk you around.
