My Review of Joe Pecheles Volkswagen, Inc:
My wife and I have now bought three volkswagens from Joe Pecheles in Greenville, NC. I usually start by doing my research on the Internet and the Internet guy Mr. Don Forbes is always prompt and professional. He answers all my questions and set up the appointment for me to drive. I would highly recommend Don and the whole team at Joe Pecheles!

My Review of Joe Pecheles Volkswagen, Inc:
This business just can't be running much longer with the service they provide. Despite my strong advice, they repeatedly ordered the wrong part. And then charged double for the service. Smirked @ the bill -- and the owner was hiding in his office ("we don't know where he is" and "Candy" -- his secretary -- "is out for lunch". Crooks. no better description.

My Review of Joe Pecheles Volkswagen, Inc:
The salesman came to my house at 9:30am on a Wednesday morning. He invited himself in, even after my husband said he had been sleeping. I called the sales manager and was told it was "common practice" for the dealership. I find this very hard to believe.

My Review of Joe Pecheles Volkswagen, Inc:
The two times I took my car in more major work (1. new water pump and 2. new tire rod and cv boot) - I left with something else totally unrelated broken or not working. I took my 2000 Volkswagen Beetle in about 6 months ago and had the water pump replaced because it had a leak and not only was the car not ready DAYS after the estimated completion time, when I got it back my trunk wouldnt open anymore. The other day I took it in for a new cv boot and tire rod and on the way back home i realized that my AC completely didnt work anymore. I've tried to contact the service department and got to response - so I sent and email and I'll be writing to the corporate office and also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. On the BBB site they have a contact number listed of a GM to talk to before you file a complaint but no one answers at that number either.

My Review of Joe Pecheles Volkswagen, Inc:
As a young woman buying my first car I was unsure what to expect. Nearly every dealership that I walked into treated me like I was ignorant and uneducated. I was so put off that I refused to buy cars from these dealerships, despite them having inventory with cars I was very interested in. Joe Pecheles in Greenville was the exception to this experience. I was EXTREMELY pleased with the service and value that I received through this dealership. They were completely reasonable when negotiating and I left the lot so pleased after purchasing a car. It is the only place that I will buy a car from in the future and I would recommend them to any of my family and friends.

My Review of Joe Pecheles Volkswagen, Inc:
Bought my '03 Beetle from this dealer. Have had to take it back on four occasions for faulty brake/tail light - last time asked them to fix the problem, not just replace the bulb again - live 45 miles away. Still didn't fix it and is out again! Also, they had to replace the emg. brake handle under warranty, let me know when ordered part was in, and went there (with appt.) and sat for 3+ hours waiting for it to be installed; then came out to tell me they had ordered the wrong part and had to re-order it!! Never was I offered transportation or a loaner car or anything! No quality control apparently and just fix what's on the surface what is obviously a defect (brake light). Very unhappy with their service department.

My Review of Joe Pecheles Volkswagen, Inc:
I purchased a 2002 VW New Beetle TDI for my wife's commute to UNC which is about 120 miles from our home. The TDI is a great car and gets 50 mpg. I can't say the same for Joe Pecheles VW in Greenville. I heard a friend call them the "stealership" rather than the dealership and I found this to be true. I got a $350 oil change - yes $350. They sold my wife some extra filters and an inspection of the timing belt, hoses, etc. I'm not even certain they used synthetic oil, which is recommended. When I got the car back the underpan (snowshield) was hanging down because they forgot to put some of the plastic pop rivets back in. The interior was also dirty and there was grease on the carpeting. I didn't complain because I won't be returning.
