My Review of John Holtz Audi Porsche Mazda:
One of the worst dealers I have ever dealt with! I've been trying to buy an Audi for the past 8 months. I have made numerous personal visits and endless calls. Everytime they assure that they will get back to me with the information - but nothing!!! I finally got the a salesperson from the BMW dealership across the street to help me out, Dave Wells. He was good, but he wasn't the actual Audi salesperson. So after I confirmed a deal with Dave and put down a $500 deposit, he handed me off to the Audi salespeople. They called me when they found the car I was looking for and told me it was in New Jersey. They said they were going to have one of their drivers drive it up from there. I said No Way! I was informed that if I wanted it trucked up to Rochester, I would have to pay an additional $800!!! They wouldn't let me pick it up from NJ either!! So I canceled the deal and told them I'd be in the next day to pick up my check. When I went the next day, they were rude and insulting. Kenneth Mariatti, the salesperson, didn't even come out of his office, he just wrote a check and sent it out with his secretary. I did not deserve this treatment.
Worst dealer ever!!!!!
I would not recommend them for Porsche, Mazda or Audi!!!

My Review of John Holtz Audi Porsche Mazda:
BEST auto buying experience ever!Dan, my Audi Specialist, was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and did not pressure me at all. The whole experience was perfect, from picking up my Audi from inside the building on a rainy day, to Dan spending 1 hour going over all the options and gadgets(NEVER had that before). The price was right and the selection was plenty. I was even introduced to the Service Advisor,Paul, who took time to talk to me even though he looked busy. I am a Holtz Audi customer for life!!

Pushy, LYING bastards - these are the best three words that describe this dealership. Look elsewhere, avoid this dealership at all cost. I had two verbal deals on the table, once I started backing off from the second one, the first one wasn't an option anymore. When I asked what happened to the first deal, the answer was: "I don't remember making those statements." They were trying to push me into the second deal, which wasn't very appealing to me. So, I walked.

My Review of John Holtz Audi Porsche Mazda:
I live about 60 miles away and used to have my Audi A6 serviced locally. After mediocre and sometimes poor service, I went to Holtz and was taken care of by Paul. That was about 4 years ago and I have gone there ever since. Paul is very knowledgeable, takes the time to answer my many questions, and I feel he looks after me. I've had lots of service at Holtz and, although it is expensive to keep an Audi running well, I feel I have always been treatd fairly.

My Review of John Holtz Audi Porsche Mazda:
I had to take the car in for &quot;dealer prep&quot; which they failed to do before I picked the car up. I had asked them to set the locks to automatically lock when the car is started. Something that should have been done BEFORE I originally picked the car up. The service department didn't seem to know anything about this feature even being on the car. Needless to say, they did not do it and they left me to find that out on my own. I guess wasting a customer's day doesn't matter to these people. <br><br>I have already been searching for another dealership for any work I need done. Most likely, I will be driving the car ~200 miles round trip for all service to avoid this dealer in the future. <br><br>This has cost them the sale of a 2nd car that my wife is going to be getting this spring. She really likes the Porsche SUV, but there is no way I would buy from this dealership since the fall down in sales, sales prep and service.<br><br>While I may be a &quot;Picky&quot; person, I can not really judge the quality of their work since they did not actually do the work. <br><br>One of the salesmen was very good to deal with -- Tony -- unfortunately, he is not the salesman I had for this car. <br><br>Too bad as the Porsche is a fantastic car, they do need to work on getting better dealers!

My Review of John Holtz Audi Porsche Mazda:
The WORST car buying experience of my life. I bought a BN 2003 Porsche and I had to wait almost 2 weeks before they could have the car ready. At the last minute, they delayed it 2 more days. Then when I arrived to pick it up (after confirming it was ready by phone) they had not even washed it -- they were just driving it in off the back lot where it had sat for over 2 weeks. There was no deal prep such as checking the car out or adjusting the tire presure or waxing it (like they charged me for). The tire pressures were all over 50 psi -- keep in mind this is a performance car and the tire pressures are critical. <br><br>In addition, I am still trying to get the PCA membership that I was promised when I purchased this car. I have contacted the dealer at least 12 times to get his resolved with no luck. I can not even get them to return my calls most of the time!<br><br>I have received better service at Burger King than I have at this dealer! While they are very friendly, they do NOTHING that a dealer is supposed to do. <br><br>Service is even worse -- see my other review for that!

My Review of John Holtz Audi Porsche Mazda:
I want to let you know of a service experience from Paul D'Aries in the John Holtz Service Department. Thank to Paul, a simple solution came about because of his product knowledge and customer support approach. While visiting Buffalo, NY before Christmas with a friend, I found that my windshield washer motor stopped working. I assumed that I could stop at an Audi dealer in Buffalo and have the issue addressed. Harry Laforte, the Service Consultat and his supervisor informed me that I would have to wait all morning and afternoon - delay my departure home - just to have somebody tell me if I have a problem that is fixable or not. I called the 1-800 number and was connected to Paul D'Aries at John Holtz Audi. He explained to me that it was a fuse. I purchased the fuse from Schmidtts Garage and the problem was solved. Paul took the time to listen to me, understood the problem, and walked me through the problem. Paul gets the point of the lifetime value of a customer. I have purchased three Audi's since 1998. Paul treated me like I was the only customer that mattered that day. This validates my decision to own an Audi. Thank you to Paul for giving me the short amount of time to take care of my problem while I was 400 miles away from home.
