My Review Of Jon Lancaster Toyota & Scion :

My wife and I wee in need of a new, reliable, minivan. After roughly a month-long process in testing other dealerships and vehicles, we returned back to Jon Lancaster Toyota where we started. The people we dealt with, primarily Maria and Quince, were very helpful and not "over-the-top" in closing the deal. We are very pleased with our vehicle as well as dealing with the service folks since the purchase. Gene Arndt was very helpful in our one discussion. We look forward to transitioning to another Toyota vehicle in the future!

Great pricing on a new vehicle. Vehicle I wanted (2013 Highlander LTD) was in stock. Added a few things (running boards, mud guards) at my choice.

My Review Of Jon Lancaster Toyota & Scion :

Third time lease customer. Always excellent, polite service upon turn in and pick up. Looked forward to working with Shawn Stittleberg again, only to learn Shawn had been terminated for a 'background check' that didn't meet the standards of the new owners. We spent three hours at the dealership when turning the car in. Lease was a 15,000 per year lease, turned in with just over 38,000 miles. Re-leased with a 2012 Camry. On 2/713, I received a bill from Jon Lancaster - excessive mileage, excessive wear and tear, vehicle smells like smoke, burn on front seat of vehicle. Right rear quarter panel scrap and numerous other damage noted. Also stated we owed another lease payment on that prior lease. Mileage was not over, all lease payments made timely, no one in my household smokes nor do I allow anyone to smoke in my vehicle. There was a slight scrape on rear right panel; however, Shawn assured me that minor damage was not charge, nor was mileage charged when customers re-lease. The dealer should have spoken with us about these issues before we left the lot with the new lease. I also note that the last two leased vehicles have needed new tires at 30,000 miles - despite the required rotation. The vehicle I turned in on 12/19/12 had new tires. I communicated my concern over having to replace tires at 30,000 miles, and the salesman (a smoker) stated that the dealership had upgraded their tires on new vehicles since I last leased. Wish I had gotten that in writing. Don't give them your business. Deceptive Trade Practices!

Thanks again for reaching out to us and sharing your challenges. With the exception of the miles we were able to get TFS to eliminate any wear and tear charges. My Review Of Jon Lancaster Toyota & Scion :

I am reviewing my third visit to Jon Lancaster Toyota. I walked in the door and was met by Ryan who at first seemed pleasant. I told him was I wanted to look at and what I had. I asked him if the vehicle I was looking for was still available as I did not see it on the lot. I honestly could not tell you if it was or not as I was never told. He said he would check and if not he could find something similar. I explained my situation and then talked to him about a trade in value I had been quoted on my first visit which I felt was low based on NADA. I was being offered below rough trade in value on a clean vehicle that I bought one year ago as a Certified USED Toyota with an a extended warranty. The salesman immediately got defensive and started telling me all the reasons why his vehicle (which I don't even know if they still had because I still had not seen it) was so much better than mine and how it would cost them a lot of money to put it up for sale. I am not stupid and I have bought used vehicles before, dealerships do minimal work on a vehicle to put it up for sale. I was further insulted by being told a vehicle two years older with 8,000 less miles would be worth a lot more than mine. I honestly will not set foot in this dealership again. I would not recommend it to anyone based on my experience. My next Toyota will be purchased at another Toyota dealership in town or out of state.

It was a very busy day, you provided a car to test.
You did not let me leave without making an offer, you accepted.
If I had left I would have probably purchased a Subaru.
The Subaru dealer let me leave without even narrowing the price.
He knew I was going to Toyota!
The past experience with your dealership with our other car purchases and the very pleasant experiences we have had in your service departments were the deal sealer.
Even though the price was a little bit higher than the competitor you got it close enough to make the deal!
I love my new car! Thanks!
