My Review of Karl Knauz BMW:
The sales,business,management and service are IMPECCABLE !!!
I've never ever been ENTHRALLED with any other car dealerships in my entire car buying history, and I have owned numerious automobiles in my lifetime. From the first step in walking in the dealership to ordering,following through the order,delivery and signing, this dealership is impeccable. When servicing came around,the scheduling and servicing were stragically executed. Work was done on time, and if the vehicle needed to be there longer then expected a shuttle would take you to your appointment(s). Or otherwise,over night, a new loaner would be signed to you until you recieved your vehicle from service.
In fact, when I purchased this new vehicle, ther was a week and a half delay whne promised due to extras that I had done, and they gave me a NEW LOANER until my vehicle was ready. NO PROBLEMS, NO DISAPPOINTMENTS, NO NOTHING !!!!!
Other dealership should learn from KNAUZ MOTORS in Lake Bluff, Illinois-PERIOD!

My Review of Karl Knauz BMW:
I meant to sya I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. In my opinion and from my experience, this is the worst BMW dealership, period. Our 3-year old BMW 330 was at Knauz BMW for a scheduled service work. While at Knauz, our car [which was in pristine like-new, not a scratch condition] was damaged and repainted by Knauz without our consent. Knauz refused to accept responsibility for diminution of value. They were unbelievably arrogant. Essentially, their position was: yes, we've damaged your car, yes, we've repainted it, so what, you deal with it. My advice - do not buy any vehicles from them and do not service your cars there, you may end up with a huge loss on your hands.

My Review of Karl Knauz BMW:
Just brought my car in this past Monday for Service. I made the appointment with no problem. I dropped my car off at 8:00am in morning to Matt in Service, not friendly or helpful. I told him what I wanted done said I needed a courtesy car and, he pointed me to Enterprise and sent me on my way(there were 5 courtesy cars sittin in the bay). I was not told when my car would be ready and I was not give a progress call. I called at 12:00 and Matt was at lunch so I called back at 1:45pm because I still had not heard from Matt. He was not available so I left a message. He called back at 2:15 pm and let me know that the work I asked for was completed and that I needed a new alternator belt and rear tires. I said I would like to pick up the car, he said it would be ready at 3:15 pm. I arrived at the dealership, Matt did not great me or even say hello when he saw me at the cashier. He did not explain the vehicle check and what that entailed and did not check me out. I had to ask a different SA to go over my work invoice! I must say that I am over all very disappointed with the service which I received. I would probrably get better service at Jiffy Lube. I highly recommend going elsewhere for sales and service of your BMW.

My Review of Karl Knauz BMW:
Knauz is really nice looking dealership, but their sales that I've encountered think too highly of themselves. I was told that there's no negotiations on European Delivery(no discount of ED MSRP), and the discount I was offered on 530i was a lot less than other places. I ended up @ Patrick, and I love it only because of the awesome sales guy that I have there who gives both best price AND service

My Review of Karl Knauz BMW:
Came in here shopping for a convertable. They told me that no room to negotiate, even with summer winding down. He sort of went through the motions, but I felt that he was not concerned with making a sale. He also broke the cardinal rule of car sales: Not asking if I wanted coffee, water,etc before we sat down to discuss details of sale and $. Ended up in another dealership with a good price and that cup of coffee.
