My Review Of Keenan Honda:

I read several great reviews of Keenan Honda, and I put down my guard expecting a good experience.
The salesmen, Mark Filip, pulled the used pilot I came to see. I hate negotiating & haggling, so before test driving and waisting both gas & our time, I was upfront and told him what my offer would be. I said I had cash, and this is my offer. He went in, checked with his manager, and came out said my offer was fine under one condition: I had to test drive and if I liked it, it was mine for the price I offered.
We get back to the dealer after our test drive, I loved it. I asked Mark how I could wire the money, he goes to figure out the details, and comes back to break our verbal agreement...
Mark says: The NEW car dealer manager, who approved the sale, didn't realize the original price. The USED car dealer manager, Alex Saulinas, won't come down that low.
IT'S LIKE THEY WANTED ME TO TEST DRIVE, FALL IN LOVE, AND THEN JACK UP THE PRICE.
I didn't like what they did, so I stood up to walk out, and Mark calls the manager Alex Saulinas over. I actually don't blame Mark Filip, I got the impression that he was caught in the middle. I DO blame Alex Saulinas, the manager.
Infact, if he would've simply apologized for breaking a verbal agreement, I might've been more flexible with the possibility of financing the rest. But he plants himself in front of me and at this point I was expecting an apology, but instead, he asks ME to explain MYSELF!!! For ME to explain MY offer!!
Alex Saulinas say: How did you come up with your offer?
Me: It's my budget
Alex Saulinas: Do you know you can't find a Pilot for this price.
Me: There's one more online I saw in NY priced for a bit less
This must've agitated him cause then he got even more rude...
Alex Saulinas: When you go see that other pilot and find out it's a PIECE OF CRAP, you'll be back, and the price for the pilot WON'T START WITH THE NUMBER YOUR PROPOSING!
He stood up and walked away. I felt Alex Saulinas disrespected both Mark Filip (the sales guy) & the New Car Manager, and me as the customer by breaking our verbal agreement. He probably has a million and one good reasons why that pilot was properly priced, but you don't push your weight around stomping on co-workers, employees, and customers like that. He treated me like me or my offer did NOT matter.
I feel because of him I lost out, and because of him, Keenan Honda lost a customer.
Experiences like this are EXACTLY why I hate used car dealerships! I expected something different than typical after reading great reviews about Keenan Honda of Doylestown but...
KEENAN HONDA OF DOYLESTOWN WAS NO DIFFERENT!!!!!
