My Review Of Keith Hawthorne Ford of Charlotte:

kyle was very friendly, thourough and helpful. He didn't use any kind of pressure, but helped me find the best truck that fit my budget and needs. Wouldn't go anywhere else to buy.

My Review Of Keith Hawthorne Ford of Charlotte:

I called to see if a vehicle was on the lot @ 6p. I set up to go test drive the vehicle the next afternoon. The morning of (approx 2 hrs before) I received 2 phone calls to confirm that I was coming to test drive the vehicle. I work 10 minutes from the dealership. When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted by David who wanted to sit down & talk about what I was looking for. I had already indicated I was there to look at a specific vehicle. After a conversation, he went & got the vehicle that I was there to test drive. He pulled the vehicle up (after having been at the dealership for over 30 minutes) & told me to get in. He went over to the sales tower & came out to tell me that I could not take the VEHICLE THAT I WAS THERE TO DRIVE on the road because it had been sold. He told me I could still drive it around the lot to see if I liked it though. So, I drove it around the lot. I thanked him for his time. He followed up w/ a phone call to tell me they traded for another vehicle (not anywhere close to the vehicle I was interested) & I told him I wasn't interested. I told him that I had found another vehicle (the one I wanted) that I would be purchasing. He was very forceful asking if it had a warranty, etc & assumed I had found it in NC when I hadn't. He followed up w/in the following days under the premise that I had emailed him (which I hadn't) to give me the quotes. I advised I had not emailed him & had not contacted him & that he must have me confused w/ someone else. It then must have "occured" to him that he had, in fact, gotten my information switched....& he tried to SALE ME A VEHICLE after I had already told him that I had purchased one from my friend. I will have to say that he did call me back to apologize for the confusion b/c he had switched the information & guess what...STILL TRIED TO SALE ME A VEHICLE! After wasting my lunch hour to look at THE VEHICLE I WANTED to learn it was sold(a phone call to let me know the vehicle had sold would have been welcomed, customer service friendly, thoughtful, & appropriate & all of the "confusions" as well as trying to sale me a vehicle after telling him I had purchased one from my friend. I can't blame a salesman for wanting a sale, but don't you think he should have thought about that before he wasted an hour of my time. Just checked their website & guess what...the vehicle that I went there to test drive is still listed under their preowned inventory, but he has yet to mention that to me. He did mention that he could get me a brand new one though.....
