My Review Of Kendall Hyundai:
We were looking to purchase a gently used car and after exhausting the options in our local area, looked into other options. We found one at Kendall Hyundai that looked like what we were looking for on paper- Low milage, clean carfax report, described on the ad as a car in "Mint" condition. So my husband was on the phone extensively with a salesman there, Josh, who personally did a walk around the car and reported anything he saw- which he said it was in really good condition with only a couple of minor stains on the interior carpet. My husband stressed his attention to detail and urged Josh to look hard for anything that would discourage a buyer since he'd have to travel a substantial distance to purchase the vehicle. After Josh assured him that there was nothing wrong with the car, he booked a flight to go and see it for himself. Before my husband got to the dealership, he had an outside mechanic stop by and do an inspection on the vehicle. Within 5 minutes of arriving, the mechanic reported tons of body work done to the back half of the vehicle, so obvious even to his naked eye, with bonding and a bad re-paint job at that. As he was doing the inspection, good ol' Josh came by and noticed that the mechanic we hired was doing a paint test in which, in our mechanic's words "his face dropped" and he walked away. The mechanic also found that one of the doors was broken along with a missing spare and a number of other poor reports on the car- all within the first 20 minutes of looking at it. All things that were obvious to anyone with half a brain during a walk through. Thanks Josh. Needless to say, we did not buy the car and WILL NOT BE GIVING OUR BUSINESS TO SUCH A SHADY DEALERSHIP!
