My Review of King BMW:
Unfortunately, my sunroof on my 2000 528i would not close so I brought it to King BMW for service. They said that they would take a look at it and give me an estimate. They came back and said that I needed a new cassette and motor. According to Don (the service advisor), the cables on the motor were stripped. I was not convinced with his explantion and questioned how he could see this if the headliner was not taken down? He said that there is a "hatch" that can be pulled down from the inside to see the motor. When I continued to question him, he became extremely rude. Basically, I caught him at his own game and he became defensive. Service advisors and technicians are also compensated on commissions, so that means sell, sell, sell....I decided to bring my car to a local non BMW mechanic and he fixed the sunroof without replacing the motor. He said that the only way to see the motor was to bring down the headliner and that the cables WERE NOT STRIPPED. Not only did King BMW try to sell me a part I didn't need, but they also charged me $95 for an hour service to diagnosis my sunroof when in actuality nothing was done. I originally went to the dealer to avoid being "ripped off" and ironically that is exactly what happened. When I tried to contact the service manager and owner about my situation, my phone calls were not returned. It is unfortunate that such deceptive sales practices are allowed to occur in this day and age. BUYER BEWARE !!!!!!!!!

My Review of King BMW:
I wish all dealerships (BMW or otherwise) were run like King. I loathe the thought that I will, one day, move out of the area and lose access to the great people at King.
Bought a 328 from King in 1998 and have been taking it to them for service since day 1. Got to know the head tech in the shop and he now does all my work. Really helpful all the time and mindful of spending my money carefully (he doesn't troubleshoot with my checkbook).
On the sales side, if you buy here you'll definitely pay more than Circle or Open Road and like most dealers you won't get the best price for your trades, but the two deals I've done with them have been fair.

My Review of King BMW:
This dealer ranks on my worst dealer list. They are the closest BMW dealer to my house and I bought my most recent car from Princeton because these guys are terrible.

In 2001 I went in looking to look at a 5 Series. I waited and waited and waited so long that I went across the street and bought a Mercedes E-Class.

When it came time to buy a truck to replace the E, King quoted me a price $100 a month higher for a truck that was $7500 cheaper than the E and with a straight face multiple times tried to justify the price with some story about this, and Chrysler and that. Clearly all fabricated as the price from Princeton was $150 less than the price quoted by King. Be very aware - will rip you off!!

My Review of King BMW:
A lying saleman:
Put $500 deposit back in January (2003). Was promised that car (325Ci) will be delivered to me end of April (2003). When I did not hear from the dealer in April, I called the dealer and was told that It's been delayed indefinitely. I did not hear from him until late July (after number of phonecalls) and when pushed, the saleman tried to sell me something I did not want. Found out later that they had received the car and sold to someone who offered them more money.

My Review of King BMW:
Circle BMW is bad - this dealership is the worst. Bought car when I lived in another state, brought to King when I moved. Service Advisor asked why I purchased at another dealership, I told him - obviously from the way he responded he didn't believe and told me that instead of the work being complete that day, as promised, it would take a week. Service Manager was of no help and neither was the owner of the dealership. Work that was done was incorrect & car needed to be taken back to dealership, another week! Car was returned to me dirty, grease on floor - but was finally repaired. Car was in their dealership for over two weeks! Will never go back or purchase a car from them.
If you live in Monmouth County New Jersey you have no choice but to buy some other car than a BMW, because both dealers are terrible.
