My Review Of Kocourek Chevrolet :
Adam Krueger was an absolute pleasure to work with as my salesman. He was polite, friendly and easy to talk to. Before I was sure about wanting any car on the lot, I knew I wanted to buy from Adam. The car I ended up purchasing was exceptionally clean and still felt new even though it was a 70k mile used car; this was a huge plus and what I was looking for. I did expect to receive the car with a full tank of gas, but it was half full. A minor detail, but it still was a minor tick against my expectations when spending so much. I have no doubt that had I asked about the full tank before driving away, Adam would have made it happen for me. He is passionate about his career and is sincere in his desire to have a happy customer. The Kocourek team is lucky to have him on board.
The financial aspect seemed rushed and I would have liked to have known the APR rate and monthly payment before I arrived for closing. Perhaps that is the way it is always done at Kocourek, but I didn't enjoy feeling like I was being surprised by the lengthy purchase agreement. The monthly payment for the amount financed did not match my amortization schedule I had with me on my phone during closing. I have 26 credits in college level math, including an economics class, and when I got home and worked the numbers out long hand I still ended up with the same payment as my phone app. I don't know if it was in Toni's job description to understand bank rate amortization, but I still feel uneasy about the discrepancy. With $12,627.17 financed at 2.99% for sixty months, I should have a monthly payment of $226.84, not $227.12. I understand this is a matter of $16.80, but I'm an engineer; it's my job to notice discrepancies.
In conclusion, my overall experience with this purchase was a good one. I would recommend this dealership to others. A response to this review might even increase my praise.
