My Review of Koons Ford of Rockville:
I bought a used Ford Explorer from this dealer. After I and the used car salesman agreed upon a price, the salesman raised the selling price by $500. Koons advertised the SUV as having a tilt steering wheel which t didn't. A few weeks after I purchased the SUV, I experienced several problems with it including an a/c that blowed warm air, a leaking water pump, a serpentine belt that was about to break and other problems. I tried to talk with the General Manager. "Tried" is the key word. The general manager never returned my phone calls. I was told in no uncertain terms by the used car salesman that the mechanical problems were mine to deal with now that I owned the SUV. I honestly believe that Koons knew of those mechanical problems before selling the truk to me but did not disclose them.

My Review of Koons Ford of Rockville:
Saw an SUV on Cars.com. Spoke with the saleman 2 days on the phone and had my son who lives 10 minutes to test drive the car. Arranged for a preapproval with my credit union and alerted my insurance company of the probable sale. My girlfriend drove me the 1 1/4 hours to Koons Ford Rockville to buy the car and drive it home. THe car had a squeal from a loose fan belt of bad water pump. THe salesman and sales manager insisted on putting the car in the shop and not letting me buy the car that day. I called the next business day. They had not put the car in the shop yet and raised the price on the car by $2000 and would not honor the price. The general manager was nastier than the sales manager.

If I could rate them a 0, I would !!!!!!!!!!

Worst experience I have ever had at a car dealer !!!!!!
