My Review Of LaFontaine Nissan:

I purchased my new Nissan Murano from the LaFontaine Dealership by telephone from out of state because I found the Sales Representative, Brad Green, to be so helpful and knowledgeable. I did not meet him in person until the day I took delivery of the vehicle, and that meeting further reinforced my confidence in Brad. In my home state, my local dealerships were not able to find the vehicle that met my specific needs. When I called La Fontaine and spoke to Brad, he quickly located my desired vehicle at another dealership and had it delivered to LaFontaine in time for me to pick it up while I was in Southeastern Michigan for other purposes. The whole process was simple and convenient. Mr. Don Poley, General Sales Manager at LaFontaine Nissan, facilitated the purchase, and I am grateful to him too. Both of these individuals were personable and knowledgeable, making my experience at LaFontaine completely satisfying. I would recommend this dealership and these individuals unequivocally.

My Review Of LaFontaine Nissan:

Brad did a great job helping me find a car (1) within my price range; (2) within the options that I wanted, and; (3) he worked hard to find me a car that I wanted. Brad did not try to upsell me into a car to earn a higher commission: Brad was concerned about what I wanted in my car. Brad is very honest and up-front during negotiations. Brad does not try to pull a fast one on you. Importantly, Brad does not use high-pressure sales tactics like other car salesmen are infamous for. Brad found me prices on others cars - not Nissans - to help me with my shopping experience. Most dealers would not even offer that service. Even after I bought my car, Brad contacted me promptly to ask me how my experience with my new car has been. Brad is an excellent salesmen. I highly recommend Brad to anyone looking for a car.

Daren was very pleasant from the moment he picked me up, once l arrived to the dealership it never stopped. My Review Of LaFontaine Nissan:

I came here after being told by two other Nissan dealers that the car I wanted could not be found or special ordered. I was looking for a completely stock Nissan Versa sedan. Garber Nissan, my local dealer told me that they only get a certain number of special orders per quarter, and they couldn't help me. They were completely unfriendly, unhelpful, and uninterested I think in pursuing a sale that there wasn't much money to be made on. I contacted another Nissan dealership in Clarkston by phone. Here the salesperson was very helpful and friendly, but in the end the result was the same and they didn't have a car or the means to order one. He said that a higher volume dealer might be of more help to me in ordering the car, and he referred me to LaFontaine. I called them and dealt with Brad. He was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. After going over what I wanted in the car and why, they determined that the only way to get it was through special order, and they were willing to do so. They warned me ahead of time that it would probably take a while to get, and I had to put a certain amount down to order. This all worked out fine. 3 months later I had exactly what I wanted. Don the new car manager and the girl that did my final paperwork were great too. I had a small problem with the car that I noticed on the way home (no dash lights, no turn signal indicators). LaFontaine was closed for the night by the time I noticed this and got home, so I decided to take it in to Garber to get looked at (since I live 1.5 hrs. away from LaFontaine). I called to set something up and the guy was a complete jerk, saying it wasn't their problem, and maybe he could fit it in (like it's some sort of personal favor). Frustrated, I called LaFontaine and the service manager could not have been more helpful. He knew exactly what the issue was (apparently the car was in "transport mode"), and he gave me his cell number and said to call him when I was in front of the car. All that had to be done was to push a fuse all the way in. I was happy to avoid using Garber at all. So, in summary, I would definitely make the drive again to deal with these people the next time I need a car.

Really helpful. Even set up side-by-side comparison of 2 vehicles in a dealer location 10 minutes from our office, saving an hour's trip to sales dealership. No-pressure sales experience and price was even a bit lower than invoice/fair market value numbers on Edmonds.

My Review Of LaFontaine Nissan:

After communicating what I wanted as far as a vehicle and the deal Ricka and Daren worked quickly with me to arrives at a fair and mutually beneficial deal. I bouth a 2012 Nissan Rogue, which I'm very happy with. Once our relationship was built we communitated in a direct and honest exchange over the internet and I then went to the dealership to close the deal. It was exactly as we agreed and there were not hidden surprises. I'm very happy with the Dealership, Rick Cooper and Daren Hawley. And Theresa in finance was also a please to work with.

Brad was very friendly, helpful and willing to work with us and accomodate our schedule. We spent 3h with him and while we usually dread the car buying experience I got to say that this time it was actually pleasant. The folks at Lafontaine really put a lot of effort into finding us the right vehiclee and to get us the accessories quickly.

I am definitely recommending Brad and the dealership!

My Review Of LaFontaine Nissan:

I was very happy with the service I received in purchasing my new Nissan Altima. I picked several Nissan dealerships to obtain internet pricing and LaFontaine was the only one willing to work with me via email including providing me with specific pricing. Every other dealership told me I had to come in to discuss my options. Rick Cooper asked questions about my purchase that other dealerships didn't bother to ask. He provided me with exactly what I asked for. When I went in Brad Green helped me with the final details of the sale. Even though the weather was terrible, he took the time to show me all the features of my car, went over the manauls with me and introduced me to the service people. Karen in the service department went over the check list they do every time you have an oil change and gave me the hours. They also scheduled my first appointment. This was the best experience I have had buying a vehicle.

My Review Of LaFontaine Nissan:

When we bought this car, we were really buying a dealership. We had never before purchased a LaFontaine or Nissan product. We had been coming in for the low-price oil changes for some years (good public relations, that), and were impressed by the importance that so mundane a service was given by the service department. Mr. King, our salesperson, was very helpful and available without being obtrusive, and gave us room to consider our options. The fact that we looked and purchased the same day should stand as an measure of our experience. It is of course too early to talk about the quality of the ongoing buyer/dealership relationship, but if our initial experiences are any gauge, we have reason to expect that our experience will continue to be fully satisfactory though the coming years.
