My Review of Landers Scion:
Scion has an "easy in, easy out" process...which means if you put a deposit down and then later change your mind, you get your money back with no hassle.
With Landers, it's been nothing but a hassle. I understand it takes a while for a car to be ordered. So I wasn't too upset when I recieved not 1 phone call with an update on my vehicle order status.
Just to see what North Point Scion had, I called them up and they had the exact car I was looking for, Accessories and all...ready to go. I went up there, put a deposit on it, and the salesmen were so friendly it amazed me.
So, Now it's time to get my money back from the other dealer who claims "there is no car of that type on the ground"...yet there's one 10 miles away. So I tell them I'm just going to go to North Point Scion and buy from there...they keep saying "give me a chance...give me till later tonight" Later that night, after thinking things thru, I called Landers and said "i've decided i want my deposit back" and he says "ok. I will write you a check tonight and call you when it's ready" NO PHONE CALL. Today, I called to ask when I could come pick up my check and the sales manager I spoke with yesterday blew me off and told me to talk to someone else because he is "busy".
It never was a personal thing until i kept hearing "we'll call you tonight" and then never hearing a phone call. Yes i know, they're human beings..but if they really want to keep a customer, they need to learn to keep there promises.
