My Review of Landmark Chevrolet:
I custom ordered a 2008 Tahoe after driving to the other side of town to look at the vehicle they said was "the one" I wanted. Not only was is not the one I wanted it wasn't even the same model. I waited the 2 months for the vehicle to come in after endless phone calls trying to find out if it was even on the way. One time I was told the factory shut down for tool repair. After two months of waiting I called once more to check the status. At that point I was told the vehicle I order didn't even exist. "They don't make Z71 in 4x4," I was told after building my own vehicle online, printing it out, faxing the order in to the dealer and waiting 2 months. "Yes they do!" So I was told finally that it was on the lot. We went down to the dealer and totally got messed over. The price was already set before the order...now it's a matter of the trade in. After haggleing with all of that THEY ADDED THE AMOUNT BACK ON IN FINE PRINT IN THE FINANCE OFFICE.
Three weeks goes by and I got a ticket in the mail from the Houston Toll Road Authority for not paying three tolls. This was nine days after I traded my truck in. Landmark states that "this happens all the time". I can't seem to get my down payment check that I turned in at the time of the deal cashed. Now GMAC is telling me that they have not turned in a single piece of paperwork for the new loan and I have a payment due in 10 days. The joke around town is their name should be LandShark. Now I know why!

My Review of Landmark Chevrolet:
This dealership shouldn't be named Landmark, it should instead be called "Landshark". They WAY overprice their cars. I paid $20,000 for a base model Cobalt (I didn't even get to pick the color). Chevy's website lists the price at under $15,000. Then there was the financing ordeal. That was a HUGE JOKE!!! I was told I had one finance company. In the end, I was paired with an outfit from Salt Lake city, Utah. Dealing with them is like dealing with the mafia, so bad, I nicknamed them "The Mormon Mafia"

DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP, unless you enjoy taking it in the rear

My Review of Landmark Chevrolet:
Very deceptive. Smooth-talking smoke and mirrors. They will tell you anything they have to to make the sale. Their prices are the highest around, and instead of giving you what you want, they will try to choose your car for you. They WILL NOT reason with you, but instead feed you very well-rehearsed and hard to follow excuses as to why they can't come down on price, and that anyone who claims to be lower is lying, which is a lie!

If you don't play by their rules, they go from super-friendly, to super-rude and pushy. Their business thrives on people who have not done their homework, and who are gullible and naive, and don't mind getting screwed. If you're not one of those people, then they don't want your business. There's plenty of other idiots out there that they'd rather be dealing with, and they'll make that very clear to you if you're not willing to let them screw you. When you try to put your foot down, they get very stern and coercive, and act like they hold all the cards. They try to intimidate you, and make you feel like a bad guy for trying to get a fair deal.

They are deceptive and conniving. If you're a mature, educated consumer who's not willing to get ripped-off, then don't waste your time with these jerks; because they don't want to waste their time with you. If you're not willing to make the deal they want to make, and on their terms, they get irritated, and act like you're offending them. They will be rude to you, and tell you that you're "not serious". That you're "just kicking tires". They will make you feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome if you don't give in. They must all get trained the same way, because all the ones I've dealt with in the past are like this.

Don't let them lure you in with their "free gifts". They offered us a $1000 shopping spree just for coming in. This "shopping spree" is a certificate to a website that sells crappy junk that nobody wants. And after you've racked up $1000 worth of this "free" merchandise, they charge about $800 in shipping/handling. No, it's not free. That is another lie. They offered us a free dinner if we gave them good reviews on their mail-in survey. So we did, and never got anything. This was another lie.

They talked (muscled) my wife into an over-priced Equinox by promising a certain rate, but they couldn't get with the bank at the time to confirm it. They went ahead and let her drive off with it, thinking that she would get a certain rate. They called the next day and said that the bank would not give the rate and that it would be more than what they promised. This was another lie. By then, she already had the car. It wasn't too late, but they sure made her think that it was, and she had already grown attached to the car. A very dirty tactic.

They are the nation's largest, and they do sell more Chevys than just about anyone. But they do so by taking advantage of good, passive people. They exploit the naive. Their profit stream comes from people that are too dumb or lazy to know any better. If you're not one of those people, then they don't want your business. They won't waste their time with you because they know that there are plenty of other idiots out there that will give them what they want.

I've heard them called "LandShark" by many different people. They already have a bad reputation. STAY AWAY FROM LANDSHARK!!!!
