My Review Of Lexus of South Atlanta:

The sales person was very nice but next time we called he had left. It took many months to get aswere why our GPS didn't work right. Came in for first oil change and tire light was on. I had to run around the dealership to find out what was wrong with the tires and what they did. Was told from sales person we would get taken for a nice lunch when we came in for first oil change. When arrived I had to ask and they said we can give you a coupon for I Hop, never even got one. Next visit we had something in one of our tires. A nail in side wall, they said oh we don't have these tires they are special. Then why do they put them on the car. We left with a nail in our tire. Had to go to a tire store. They could have called around to find one for us.
Also new sales person had called and said to say hi when we came in next time. When we arrived we told the receptionist we wanted to see him. She never asked our name and no one ever came looking for us. We come from MA and there were treated like Kings and Queens there. I live in a 55+ community that will have over 3,000 home in it with in the next 8 years. Will I recommend this Lexus deal no way. There cumstomer service is at the bottom of my list.

My Review Of Lexus of South Atlanta:

Service deptmt never has parts in stock, or accesories, always requires multiple visits to get factory covered work completed, very frustrating especially when you are driving 75 miles one way to dealership. Additionally, if your check engine light comes on, you are charged $120 just to have the code read to diagnose what is the problem. This does not include the repairs which are covered under warranty!

My Review Of Lexus of South Atlanta:

My sister and I went to buy 2 CT200. I have mine quite ready but the one that my sister want isn't available yet. She went thru all the paper work , put down the deposit, and make sure that the finance was 0.9%.
The next week we came back to pick up the car , the sale man made us wait for so long and we had to do the paper work again. Went thru all the signing and reading again. Finally we go to the finance guy, but instead like they said before , it was 1.9% finance not 0.9%.
It was really dissapointed bc we checked with them so many time b4 we left on the first day. Also , the sale man knew from the beginning that was 1.9% finance but he never let us know in the first place. Let us go thru all trouble, driving long way, came and see them very early in the morning, and still sit and wait for hours . But the worst is that they refuse to give back my sister deposit . They said the Lexus headquarter had the money. I called and confirmed but the headquarter said they didn't receive any money from them bc the buying transaction never been process so there was no money send to the headquarter . What's a big lie. I called back the dealer to ask for the refund check, they finally accepted but it took up to 7 weeks for us to receive back the check. In the mean time, after two weeks that i bouht my car my sister went to Hennessy Lexus and bought her car. She received the car license plate 2 weeks after that. I still hadnt got mine yet, even until the temporary plate expired . I called the dealer again cuz over a month but I still didnt have the plate yet. They said bc I paid with check (what the...., should I carry 20k cash run around), but my sister paid with check too, AND SHE BOUGHT HER CAR 2 WEEK AFTER I DID, y would her got her plate way b4 I did. There is only one reason , THEY ARE REALLY LACK OF WORK. They also said I still could drive with the expired plate. Trusted them one more time , I took the car to go work. The next day I still didnt see the plate send home yet, I called the police department to find out could I drive with expired plate. The police said absolutely NO, NEVER DRIVE WITH EXPERIED PLATE, even the car plate is in process.
I was almost in big trouble cuz of this dealer, always provide faulse information , big lie, & not respond for what they suppose to do.
Highly NOT recommend to anyone

My Review Of Lexus of South Atlanta:

I've had to take my car back to the dealership for Certified service repairs 4 times within that last two months for the same problem. They also broke my AC display as well as drove my car for over 100 miles to recreate an issue.

My Review Of Lexus of South Atlanta:

UNSCRUPULOUS CAR MAINTENANCE - I took my RX300 in for a 100K maintenance totaling in the neighborhood of $2500. A couple of days after the car was returned to me, the transmission started to skip and brought my vehicle to a stand still. I took it back to Lexus where they sort of "looked it over". They told me i needed a new transmission and the cost of repair would be $4300. It was too obvious that the transmission was working fine when I brought the vehicle in only to have issues following their maintenance. I took my vehicle somewhere else only to find that the transmission flush they completed as part of the "Premier Services Menu" had clogged the transmission filter. This was about a $60 repair. I've yet to hear back from Chuck or Lexus of South Atlanta on the e-mail I sent with my later findings.

NOTE TO ANYONE READING THIS, IF ANYONE WANTS TO DO A TRANSMISSION FLUSH ON YOUR VEHICLE, DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO COMPLETE UNLESS THEY ARE ALSO DROPPING THE PAN TO CHANGE THE FILTER!!!

My Review Of Lexus of South Atlanta:

Brittney Price contacted me, we agreed on a price and I had my loan officer talk with her and we got all the car info and I was issued a cashiers check made out to the dealer. I even had to give here a credit card # after this just to hold the car. I drove 2.5 hours arrived at the dealer and had to wait 45 mins before anybody seen me. After I signed the paperwork, and even had my insurance company fax proof of insurance I was told that the check could not be validated or it looked fake. I got upset. I was told I could put down 2500 and drive off and when the check cleared It would be refunded, or it could be delivered via somebody drive it 180 miles after I already paid for it. No deal, I got the vice president of the bank to go to the bank after hours and fac the proper paperwork to prove the check and loan was legit. Before the fax came in, I was told they werent going to sell me the car due to I was mad and I would give them a bad review on the survey you get after buying a car. At this point it wouldnt have mattered if I had cash. I have never felt so small in my entire life. They made the sales lady come tell me this instead of being a man and telling me. There was a verbal agreement and they broke it. They took the car off inventory so no other dealer could see the car on the inventory list and get it for me. Worst dealership I have ever been to....the General manager and financial manager cost the nice sales lady a sale today.

My Review Of Lexus of South Atlanta:

Went in for warranty work. Right headlight was fogged. Left headlight bulb out.

They said the car had been wrecked, so the wouldn't fix the problems. Well, OK, I guess you cant warranty work done by someone else.

So I asked how much to fix the problem. $368 for a new HID bulb, $548 for a new headlight enclosure for the right side. And he said my "headlight ECU" on the left side was missing, so thats another $400.

I can't affford that so I drove home and looked at it myself. Turns out I was missing a 15 amp fuse for the left side headlight.

It now works.

So either they KNEW that I didn't need the new bulb/"ECU" or didn't even check the fuses.

I undersand the new headlight enclosure just can't believe the price

My Review Of Lexus of South Atlanta:

This is the closest dealership to my house. Scott Ross, one of their service reps, is great and is their only saving grace there. I've taken my car in on several occasions and each time I have to return because they've fixed one thing but broken something else. One time, they didn't reset the computer to open the windows at one touch so I had to return for that. Another time, I got one of their expensive detail jobs and it only looked like they did the basic "free" vaccuuming. I requested that they re-do the detail and provide me with another one. The worst thing was when I took the car in thinking there was something wrong with the battery, since it wouldn't always start up on the first try. Their mechanic couldn't find anything wrong with the car. After two months and a number of times where I'd have to call people to pick up my son or couldn't make it to work because my car wouldn't start, I finally took it to a non-Lexus mechanic nearby. That mechanic instantly found out that the battery needed replacing. I went through a lot of inconvenience all because of something their mechanic should have easily caught. Overall, I've been dissatisfied with the quality of the work done there and have tried to take my car whenever possible to a different dealer even though it's pretty inconvenient for me to do so. Also, other dealerships provide much better amenities regarding snacks than this one does.
