My Review of Lexus of Wayzata:
Ordered a Lexus at an agreed upon price in writing with managers handshake and signature. 2 days later was called to say a mistake was made and it would cost $1635 more! We offered to go up $500 and they refused to do the deal at that price. The manager was offensive and rude considering they made the mistake. They have a monopoly in the Twin Cities and don't feel they need to honor their contracts in a fair way. I definitely would not purchase a car from their sales department.

My Review of Lexus of Wayzata:
Purchased new IS250. Had the car exactly 1 month. Still no calls or contact from the dealership other than a computer generated postcard. I expect a personal thank you or some type of contact from the sales person or dealership, but nothing...It's been 30 days and no calls that the plates are in. Driving around with expired registration as of 6/21....So much for the Lexus experience.... Finally called sales mgr today, he called back 10 min before closing and "was going to have someone come out and put them on, but since we're closing they wouldn't make it"... I got an apology and he suggested the he switch me to a different sales rep...can't wait....

My Review of Lexus of Wayzata:
Purchased new vehicle. Sales Mgr is over the top claiming they pay invoice price and how his family members have to pay 1000 over invoice. Felt insulted as he lied to our faces. Did end up purchasing, but had other issues with sales person first saying the car had a certain option, then during final checkout saying it didn't. In the end he found someone else that verified it had the option we wanted. Also, interest quoted by sales rep was then said to be a mistake by financing person. Had to argue to get them to honor the quote, had to listen to him talk about how they have this problem and tell the reps to check with them before telling customer. How is this my problem their sales force can't get it right? As we drove off from the lot in the new car, we found a crumpled up Wendy's fast food bag in the passenger side door storage slot. Also, had appointment at 6:30 and did lots of sitting around waiting as our sales rep talked to other customers. When I asked about it he said, yeah the other guy had a later appointment but showed up early...Again, how is this my problem. We didn't get any type of feeling we were a valued customer.

My Review of Lexus of Wayzata:
Bought the car from here. Had some issues a few months back and brought it in. The car was out of warranty. I got a free loaner for the day. I recieved a call in the afternoon with my estimate of 2.5k for parts/labor.

I come in and talk to the tech. I decline the service after calling some people for advice. Waited 45mins to have my car washed (I think they tried to make my car worse) I get my car back and its worse than when I brought it in. I was charged an hour of shop labor (reasonable price) but I don't think they even looked at my car.

I brought it home and ended up doing a fluid flush with a buddy in his garage and the car has been working fine since. Its been 2 months now.

So all in all i paid about $130 for a loaner and car wash. I want to add that the sales experience initially was good. The service during the warranty period was ok. I had to bring the car in multiple times for an issue where they kepts "resetting" it until I finally spoke up about it then they replaced the item. I don't think I'd purchase another luxary auto any time soon. They are a nightmare to deal with esp when there are only 2 dealerships in town.
