Reason for Visit: Sales (Used)

I recommend this dealer: No

My Review of Lighthouse Toyota:
talked us into an extended warranty, which has to this date (a year after we purchased the used prius) not covered ONE SINGLE THING that has gone wrong with the car (peeling paint, battery problems). scheduled maintenance is SKY HIGH in price. They're the only Toyota dealership in the area, and I didn't want to have to travel to Jax for maintenance.

Reason for Visit: Service

I recommend this dealer: No

My Review of Lighthouse Toyota:
very rude service by all employees, except cashier.

Refused to honor my tires for life contract, simply because they choose not to any longer..& had the nerve to tell me I need new tires & tried to sell me new ones.

I have taken my scion 2006 into this dealership on time for each and every recommended service & routine maintenance. There is no reason to refuse to honor my contract & I plan to gather all receipts & record & will contact the FCC. and possibly also Ken Amarro who helps consumers on the news. I know I am not alone & I am also in the right.

Today (7-06-2009) was the worst unbelievably rude customer service ever!

Looks like a new ownership or management, the atmosphere was very different from times past. The new group is turning the Toyota-Scion names to mud imo.

Reason for Visit: Sales (Used)

I recommend this dealer: No

My Review of Lighthouse Toyota:
Sales person used every trick in the book, so watch carefully. Truth was not a high priority for him. More of a haggling experience than I had in mind. The final cost was okay for the car I bought. I wish the process was more straight forward, and didn't keep changing before my eyes. Once you're past sales, the place improves, which is why I'm okay with the dealership. I'd recommend buying elsewhere but okay for service.

My Review of Lighthouse Toyota:
I was interested in buying a sedan.
We went on a Sunday, spent the whole day there, because I found a Corolla that I sort of liked. We told them we wanted to spend Close to or Less than $300.00 a month. "Oh we can do that" So they didn't. Price totaled to 383.00. we decided to get up and leave. They held our trade in keys and said please wait! We will come up with another deal. So we waited and they offered us 3 other deals. We finally were able to leave and returned the next day to look at the yaris'. AGAIN, they knew our budget, they knew what we wanted, so they offered us 325. ok, thats reasonable, thank you, but not what we are looking for. "oh please wait, yaaddda yadda." Everytime we tried to leave a new manager would come out and try to convince us to buy the car and how great it was. After we left, they called my cell phone begging us to come back. This was worst than David Maus, which don't go to either. So after spending a few hours there we left with no car. AGAIN.
