My Review of Lombard Toyota:
I would never go back to this dealership. I bought a used 1999 Camry from there and it had a broken CD left in the car. I was never able to get the entire CD out so I had to buy a new head unit for my sound system. Of course the salesman (Ed) never told me anything about it. Next we decided to buy my sister's used 2001 Camry there and when we go to finally purchase the car the salesman told my mom that she had to purchase some undercoating service or something. My mom said that she did not want it but the salesman just responded with, "We do it to all of our cars." We also got my mom's Highlander from this place. She wanted a blue one but the salseman pestered her until she went for a silver one because they had that in stock.
Then there's the service department. I took my 99 Camry in there and less than two hours later they called me back and said that I had a spun rod bearing and needed a new engine. For those who don't know a spun rod bearing usually comes with a loud knocking sound, but my car just had a fluttering sound coming from the engine. Since they only had my car for two hours it leads me to believe that they didn't even drop the oil pan to look at the engine, let alone tear it open to look at the rod bearings.
Please, do not go to this dealership unless you absoloutley have to. My family got horrible service on all three cars we got from there, and the mechanical problems we had were very recent so it doesn't look like this place is going to change anytime soon. It's been a horrible experience all around.
