My Review Of Mabrey Smith Motor Co:
Upon arriving, on 1/3/10, the salesman was on the cell phone and didn't acknowledge my greeting. I proceeded to look at a couple of cars on the lot and patiently waited for the salesman to finish his call and approach. He answered a few of my questions regarding a Nissan Sentra: mileage, interior, automatic, does the radio work (he replied that he never checks out the radio), until I asked to see the trunk. We never even discussed the price! I stated I was looking for a reliable car for my college daughter.
He became rude, stating he'd been in business for 37 years and stated "I can tell this car is not for you...you are driving a wrecked van and you want a new car. I am not going to waste my time, you are not my kind of customer!" and he walked off.
Too bad... as a college educated Magnu Cum Laude graduate of the University of Arizona, local public school teacher in good standing, I could have and would have sent him other customers, if he'd only been a better salesman....and we were prepared to pay cash!
