My Review of Manchester Mitsubishi:
In May 2006 I was looking to purchase a 2007 Eclipse Spyder (convertable). I visited the Manchester Mitsubishi dealership a couple of times and told them I had decided on an orange Spyder, with V6 engine, 6spd manual shift, and sports package. The salesman was young but polite and knew the cars. They called around but could not find one to transfer from another regional dealer. During the next several weeks of searching, they kept calling and trying to get me to buy what they could find, so "It was just what I wanted" except it had automatic transmission, or was gray, or didn't have the sports package etc. I got tired of this and several times asked them if they knew what I was after, they said they did.
They then said they couldn't do anything about ordering me the car I wanted until I put down a deposit, and then it would be six to eight weeks to get the car. Since their price was about the same as the other dealers and the salesman I had was a young guy I wanted to help him and we set up a Sunday meeting. After several weeks of "looking" and four days to prepare for our scheduled meeting, I met with the salesman again and then he had "the manager" come over to get me a "good deal". They left me sitting for about 45 minutes while he worked on a "good deal". I guess it was supposed to "build tension", but it just made me angry, so I left and did not buy there. They didn't do their homework, and they wasted my time.
I bouoght from another dealer (Commonwealth Motors) and there we talked on the phone a few times, I told them what I wanted, they did everything before I ever walked in the door, they got what I wanted, and the entire deal took 10 minutes. I had the car three weeks later.
