I contacted Matthews Motors to inquire about a vehicle I had just found on their website. It was after hours on a Saturday and I expected to get the voicemail, but to my surprise they answered the phone! I spoke with Dave Klaiber who was with a client at the time, but assured me he'd have Mike Kerns call me back shortly...I really did not expect a phone call back because it was after hours & I figured Mike would call me back on Monday. Mike called me back immediately & was very patient in answering all my questions about the vehicle I was inquiring about. On Monday morning I received a call from Dave Klaiber thanking me for contacting the dealership and seeing if I had further questions. At that time Dave answered additional questions I had and went over financing options with me and was very informative as to what terms I could expect based upon my credit situation. So later that afternoon I decided to move forward with my loan application & sent all requested documents to Dave. Dave called me back in a little over an hour and told me I was approved! My experience with Matthews Motors was excellent...they really care about their customers!!! I've already referred them to someone in the store parking lot who commented on how nice my car is!!! The folks at Matthews Motors are good people...all of them. Each and every one of them. This is my second automobile purchase from them. I am a self employed individual for over twenty years now. That experience has evolved me into a professional 'BS' detector. I can tell you this with certainty, they do everything they can from the price of the automobile, to the lender, to the loan rate, to the warranty...they know that their job depends on doing you right. We were having credit issues and was in need of a vehicle real bad so we was given Matthew Motors contact info from our attorneys office. My husband called and spoke with Victoria Godwin who really works miracles she delivers exactly what she tells you she can deliver. Victoria is a very hard working and compassionate individual who goes the extra mile to get you not only in a up to date vehicle but one that works with you and your situation. After getting us pre-approved Victoria gave us the go ahead to come down to the dealership. When we arrived at the dealership everyone was really very nice we was teamed up with Robert Walker who verified our info while we waiting on Victoria. Robert worked with us thru the process and after they determined the amt we could finance Robert took us out show us the vehicles waited patiently while we decided and when we needed advise he was there very knowledgable and had an answer for every question. Robert is a very hard worker also and made us feel good to know that he was a top Sales Consultant and he had the plaques to back him up. After the car was picked we was introduce to the Finance Specialist Jeryl Murph who walked us thru all of the paperwork with ease he really knows his stuff and he's a perfectionist so that made us feel good knowing that Jeryl would make sure everything was perfect down to the printing of our paperwork. Excellent overall experience. I had visited other dealership and as a result had low expectations. At a time of decline in customer service Matthews Motors has increase value for customers. They did not attempt to push me in a vehicle that I did not want with high payments and miles. I was treated that way customers should be treated. I am a very loyal customers. I will attempt to purchase all of my vehicles in the future from this dealership. I made several phone calls before coming out to Clayton. Everything that was discussed was accurate. I have already recommended this dealership to two other people. Thank you Robert and Victoria.

My wife and I contacted Matthews Motors based on recent purchasing experiences from other family members. We were seeking a particular vehicle type, color and options. Chris O'neal contacted us after about (3) days of searching with the vehicle that met our search criteria. I've never experienced a dealer that goes to such heights to please customers whether they are first time buyers or repeat customers.

The experience with Matthews Motors was a great. My sister told me to go on line and apply for a car loan,which I did and had results in 15 minutes. I received an email from Pete Fowler who was a nice salesman. Pete called the next morning just needing a little information which got the ball rolling.By 1 pm the same day he ask what day I could come by to pick out my car. I visited them the next day at 9am and drove away with a 2011 Chevy Cruse which I just love.Everyone was very nice professional and did a very good job. I initially visited Matthews Motors because of the Clearance flyer I received in the mail. I had a question about the flyer so I called the dealership and spoke with Robert Walker who was very friendly and kind. I went immediately to the dealership and Robert showed me several cars that were in my price range. I test drove the cars and didn't buy one then because I was waiting for my job acceptance to be finalized. Over the next month, Robert kept in touch with me to see how things were progressing for my new job. He then contacted me about a beautiful fully loaded vehicle that had come in and was going to be part of the upcoming sale. I went, test drove and loved it! The next morning I went in and began the paperwork. It turns out that particular vehicle was a bit over the price I was comfortable with so I inquired about another vehicle I had seen on their internet site. About four hours later, I drove it home! I am very pleased with my experience with Matthews Motors and with Robert Walker. I will certainly be telling everyone where I got this beautiful car! Thanks everyone!!
