Worst place to take your vehicle for service. I've been taking my truck there for service since 2007 when i bought my truck brand new. Since the first service i took it there i have been complaining about taking my truck there for service since 2007 when i bought my truck brand new. Since the first service i took it there i have been complaining about my brakes making a noise. (Lemon law?) There excuse was it was dirty. Every time i took my truck in for service i told them about my brakes making noise, and all they say is the brake pads are still good. I also had to pay extra for them to look at my brakes. So i took my truck to my uncle who i watched take off my rear brake drums. What we found was gouges in my brake drum, as if someone didn't know what he was doing or was too lazy and went with a 3" grinder and tried to de-glaze my drum. When i told the service department about these marks on my drum, all they could say it wasn't them, and the mechanic that worked on my truck last year (false) said it wasn't there the last time and if it was there it would have been noted down on the service record. the service manager kind of came off like i purposely did it myself to my own brakes. The next day i personally took the service manager on a test drive, and drove till he heard the brakes make that noise which took less then 5 minutes. Now he's blaming the rust in the brake drum. By the way, your not supposed to wash your truck with your parking brakes on, because water goes in, and your brakes lock up and cause rust. I've been complaining about this noise since the first service, and as the service manager said, "its the rust", they should have fixed it then because that would have been within the 3 year rust warranty. But... Toyota will not warrant this because my truck is more then 3 years old. So, Maui toyota has made an offer to me... no charge for labor, but i will have to pay $393 plus tax for new brake drums. I say thats BSILHLUT!!! Why should i have to pay for there mistakes. I need to speak to someone higher then the service manager. Anyone know who will that be? Word of advise...NEVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO MAUI TOYOTA FOR SERVICEs. TAKE IT TO SERVCO LEXUS. They can service your vehicle there. Better yet, buy your vehicle from Servco Toyota from Oahu, you probably can get a better deal with the shipping included. More

Elvis is a great person to work with. This was my first time purchasing a car and boy did I have MANY questions. I called just to ask questions and Elvis patiently answered them all. He really took the time to make sure I understood what he was saying and he didn't make me feel like I was wasting his time. The day I showed up at Maui Toyota, I wasn't expecting to leave with a car. I simply went there to pick up a brochure from Elvis. Although I mentioned to Elvis that I was there to look and pick up the brochure, he still made time to chat with me and learned what I was looking for in a car. He gave many suggestions to help me decide on the PERFECT car for me. He kept his word on everything he promised and was very prompt at getting back to me in regards to parts being ordered and making appointments for installation. To top it off, Elvis willingly offered to drop off documents to my workplace since I wouldn't be able to make it to the dealership within the next 2 weeks. I call that EXCEPTIONAL customer service!!
