My Review of Mayer Volkswagen:
I rescheduled my appointment for a test drive. I forgot to ask the name of the sales person, and he perhaps forgot or didn't bother to tell me his name. When I went there, they made me sit and wait for about 20 mins to find out who he was - and there were only about 7-8 people including my 2 other friends and other customers in the whole dealership. When she found out, the sales person was serving some other customer and he didn't even care to give us a wait time estimate. Just curtly asked me to wait until he was done with her. I waited for another 1 and 1/2 hrs after which I got the test drive and although he was generally nice, I had to prod him for all the details about the car myself and forcefully talk to him about my buying options. Even after which he was not ready to at least give me a quote and it almost looked like he was trying to send me off with a oh-you-cant-buy-this-car-just-dont-make-me-go-through-the-pain-of-getting-you-a-quote attitude.
Oh yeah he gave me a car features CD to successfully drive me off the store. I dont want to think that it happened to me because I'm brown.

My Review of Mayer Volkswagen:
Made an appointment for maintenance which was confirmed my Mayer the next day. On the designated day we show up but there's no trace of our appointment in the appointment book. After conveying our displeasure with this course of events (we had taken time off from work), the person behind the counter has the gall to say that usually he refuses 'difficult' customers, but because he 'is in a good mood today', he is 'not going to throw us out and will help us after all'. We were perplexed and could not believe the attitude of the young man. It was the last time we ever visited Mayer and would not recommend the dealership to anyone interested in maintaining or buying a VW.<br><br>Thank you.<br>
