My Review of Mc Kenney - Salinas Mitsubishi Suzuki:
While friendly, the service at McKenney-Salinas Mitsubishi is very questionable. When I brought in my 1989 Mitsubishi Van for repair, the technicians were unable to diagnose why my engine was running low on power, and simply recommended that I get rid of my vehicle because replacing/overhauling the engine would be prohibitive in cost. Even after I suggested that the catalytic converter might be the problem, they brushed the idea aside and offered me a used FORD Windstar minivan. While waiting for my van to be shipped back to Texas, the back window to the van was smashed, but nothing was stolen from my car. When it finally arrived back in Fort Worth, the local Pep Boys discovered that the problem was indeed the catalytic converter and welded in a new one, all in less than THREE hours, while McKenney-Salinas Mitsubishi had taken three DAYS to tell me that my vehicle was no good anymore. There are only two explanations for this kind of service, both of which are unexcusable. Either the dealership is so incompetent that it cannot correctly find the problem to a MITSUBISHI vehicle that a general automotive repair center like my local Pep Boys establishment did or they are simply trying to take advantage of my situation. Because they are an official Mitsubishi dealer, I must assume the latter. In either case, be very wary when going to this dealership to have your car serviced; as for buying a new car, I would shop somewhere else too.
