My Review of Menlo Mazda:
Do not buy from this dealership. I purchased a 2004 BMW M3 and was promised several items in writing at time of purchase which they attempted to back out of when I returned to have the work completed. Additionally, both the salesman (no longer there) and the finance guy, Alex Golter, told me the car underwent a safety inspection and that the car had a least 60% brake life left. Four months and 4k miles later, the brake pad replacement light came on. After calling the service department and reviewing the records from the initial inspection, it turns out that it only had 40% at time of sale. Despite the fact that they recognized their own mistake, no one at the dealership will take responsibility.

To sum up this dealership in two words, pathetic liars.

My Review of Menlo Mazda:
In Jaunary my husband friend and I went to go buy a car. We tried to leave several times because they were not giving us the deal we wanted. So the last time we go to leave we get half way to our car about 8 of the men that work there including the manager (or owner I am unsure) came out and got in my husbands face. (Mind you we are only 22 years old, and these men were all in there 30’s and 40’s and are pretty big guys.) They then made fun of our credit scores saying we would never find financing with our credit reports. Then the manager called me ugly and said I deserved my husband because he was ugly too, and that no one would ever look at us. They said that we were rude and called us several names. Finally we got in the car to drive off and they started making fun of the car we were driving. I can’t believe about 8 grown men at a company would chase down kids and get in the faces and threaten them just for not buying a car.

Basically very expensive and dishonest guys.
And there will be hidden fees.

They do not honor quotes that they give. They also do not return phone calls. Horrible Horrible experience. The day before I was to relocate to a new area, and purchase a car from Menlo Mazda, they backed out of the previously struck deal. Absolutely do not go to this dealership.
