My Review of Metro Honda of Union County:
Since moving to Union County in July of 2008, we have had the opportunity to deal with Metro Honda on several occasions—not only for service work on our 2001 Honda Odyssey but also for purchasing a used 2007 Honda Odyssey and then 2 months later a 2006 Honda Civic. Metro Honda’s sales & service teams have never once failed to be friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and fair.

Our latest experience just this past September was with salesman Larry Carrillo. When I first met Larry, we talked for over an hour about vehicles and what might be good for our teenagers to drive. He was very knowledgeable as well as dang funny & engaging. Then my husband had to suddenly leave the state for an extended period of time, and I was left alone to make the car purchase, something I had never done before. Larry was incredible….not just in helping me find something safe & reliable for my kids to drive within my price range but also in checking in with me occasionally to see how I was doing being a single parent with four kids. He proved to be a very compassionate guy who could see beyond just selling me a car.

I am a very satisfied customer, thanks to the entire Metro Honda team….but mostly because of Larry Carrillo. I have on occasion been back for servicing and always look up Larry so we can have a chat.

My Review of Metro Honda of Union County:
This is the second time I have worked with Malachi at Metro Honda on a vehicle purchase and as usual, he was awesome! I was specifically looking for a blue Honda Accord with full power driver's seat. Malachi was able to get this car for me, as it was not on the lot at the time. He came in on his day off several times, answered all my phone calls, and worked with me on the terms of the purchase. I would highly recommend Malachi Smith at Metro Honda!

My Review of Metro Honda of Union County:
This is the second vehicle we have purchases from Metro Honda despite that fact that there are numerous dealer (and several Honda dealers) closer to our home. Everyone we dealt with was courteous without being overbearing. The purchasing process was handled professionally and everyone made sure that our questions were answered satisfactorily. Well run dealership with good people who seem open and honest.

My Review of Metro Honda of Union County:
We were quoted a price and agreed to the price.

When David Helms got through with it, the following were added:

$800 in Dealer Installed Options
$1500 in "Prepaid" service
$1500 in "Extended Warantee"

1. There were NO dealer installed options on the car
2. We neither asked for or were asked if we wanted the "Prepaid" service
3. We neither asked for or were asked if we wanted the "Extended Warantee"

After some words, we ended up paying our original quoted price.

WATCH OUT!!!! This type of tactic MUST be condoned by dealership management.

I'll NEVER BE BACK!!! I EXPECT TO BE TREATED HONESTLY AND WAS NOT!!!

My experience with Metro Honda was very satisfactory. Matt and the staff were very professional in all respects. I purchased a slightly used car that had just come into the dealership. It ended up having an unforeseen pre-existing problem that required service. Matt and the staff were very accomodating in getting it fixed promptly and completely. I would highly recommend Metro Honda to anyone in the market for a new or used car.

My Review of Metro Honda of Union County:
The Best!

I recently purchased a new 2009 Honda Ridgeline from Metro Honda of Union County, NC and found the total buying experience at Metro to be the best I've had in twenty plus years of new auto purchases.

This experience began with an e-mail request for quote on a 2009 Ridgeline, RTL, Bali Blue. In less than 24 hours, Metro's internet salesman, Matt Hatfield responded with a very reasonable quote on this vehicle. I immediately contacted Matt by phone and was able to work out a very good deal for the Ridgeline including the value for my trade-in.
Matt was wonderful to work with. His approach to auto sales was professional, low pressure, very fair and he kept his word on each aspect of the deal (rare for many auto salesmen). When we arrived at the dealership, Matt was there to greet us and had everything in place for our new purchase. He walked us through each function on our new vehicle and accompanied us for the test drive. Because we currently own a 2002 Honda Odyssey and were interested in the new features on the 2010, Matt took the time to introduce us to the 2010 Honda Odyssey and let us test drive one of those also.

The Metro dealership and staff that we met were all great to work with. The waiting area proved to be an oasis for me and my family that had traveled from Sanford, NC for this new purchase. Free video and x.Box games were just the ticket for my son. First run DVD movies, popcorn, Cappuccino and cookies were all part of the overall buying experience.

Metro Honda provided the absolute highest level of service. My husband and I had been shopping for a new car for nearly a month, but we faced so many challenges trying to get the time and attention we needed from other dealerships to feel like we were making an informed decision for a car that fit our needs. At Metro Honda, however, our sales representative Malachi was attentive and helpful from the very first minute we spoke. He took the time to listen to our needs and our concerns, and he provided the information and insight we needed to make the right decision to fit our lifestyle and our budget. He even spent the extra time locating the Civic we really wanted... Atomic Blue paint and all. The time, attention, care and follow-through provided by everyone on the Metro Honda team all came together to give us the best car-shopping experience I could have asked for.

My Review of Metro Honda of Union County:
During the course of our purchase visit we were introduced to most of the employees at the dealership. We were purchasing our new CRV through the "Cash For Clunker" program with the assistance of the State Employees' Credit Union. Everyone at the dealership were friendly and not befuddled when we arrived three hours prior to our appointed time. It was a painless, great experience and if we didn't live 4 hours away from the dealership, we would look forward to servicing our vehicle there. The staff were most helpful in telling us where our local service could be obtained. The shop looked like a NASCAR garage, and clean enough to eat off the floor. The dealership as a whole was very inviting with a relaxed casual atmosphere. Our Honda product was well represented by a knowledgeable professional staff working in an excellent facility. Most important is the fact that we are delighted with our choice of a new Honda CRV.

Pleasant experience and there was no hassle at all to buy. All the financial managers and dealership managers were very friendly and knowledgeable. I will absolutely return to buy my second Honda at Metro Honda of Monroe. I have already referred the dealership and both of the financial managers that worked with me on the purchase of this vehicle.
