My Review of Middletown Mazda Volkswagen:
Brought home new Jetta 2.5 and found stain on headliner and poor paint touchup on rt rear door. Made appointment for a day when their "detailers" were at shop. Called on day of appointment to say my son & his girlfriend had volunteered to take the car in since dealership was 1 hour away(instead of me). Service mgr said OK and that detailers were there. My son got there and was told they had no record of any appointment. I got service mgr on phone that I had spoken to 60 minutes prior and he said no problem. They kept my son & girlfriend waiting there for 3 hours and then said the detailers weren't there and sent him home. 5 hours wasted and not a single thing done! I called both the general manager and my salesperson who promised to check into it and get back to me. Never heard from salesgirl, general manager, or service manager. No apology, no explanation. Nothing. When I picked up the car I was coached to give highest ratings when VW corporate called about my new car purchase. This was before my fiasco with the service dept. The car still has those defects and now there is trouble with the car's heating/cooling, auxillary fans go on when engine is cold, and the digital clock runs slow. On the internet I see terrible reviews for almost all the VW dealers and don't know where to try to get it fixed.
