My Review of Mike Fitzpatrick Ford Lincoln:
The stainless steel caps that go over my lug bolts were ruined when the dealership used an impact wrench to remove and install my wheels after a service call. 12 of the 20 lug bolt covers were gently placed on the lug bolts, befor the car could be driven around the bldg 3 of the caps had already fallen off. When I noticed this I inspcted the remaining caps and 9 more of the caps came off in my hand. Also 3 of the wheel center caps had been damaged and had also been placed on the wheel apparently in hopes that I would drive home befor I would notice. (The 4th center cap was lost after a previous maintence trip to the dealer.) All 3 center caps had clips that attach the cap to the wheel broken off. When I spoke to the service writer he admitted that it appeared that the mechanic had placed the damaged parts back on the wheel in a failed attempt to hide the damage. He then went on to tell me that I shouldnt be concerned because all Focuses loose their lug covers and center caps by 30,000 miles and nobody else seems to complain. In a state of anger over his uncaring response and the mechanics attempt to cover up the damage, I insisted that all damaged parts be replaced at the dealers expense. He eventually appeared to agreed to my demand. Still 2 months and 2 visits to the dealer later my replacement parts havent arrived. and they have not offered to send them to me via parcel. I even complained to Ford, still no response. Where I had purchased 2 new Fords I will never purchase another one. Mr. Not Happy
