My Review of MileOne Herb Gordon Volvo:
I don't know whether it was a good price, but the friendliness, helpfulness was a pleasure. I went to this dealer thinking I might buy a Subaru and ended with the Volvo, but was willing to travel the extra 40 minutes, because I had neard negativw things about the Volvo dealer nearer me, and knew I had not been happy with Fitzgerald's Subaru. John Hulsizer was a great salesman: knowledgeable, patient, friendly. Couldn't have been better.

So far my experience has been a very positive one. I hope I like my Volvo as well as I did my Subaru.

My Review of MileOne Herb Gordon Volvo:
My family is definitely a 'Volvo Family' and has been since the early 1970s, so purchasing a car from Herb Gordon Volvo was a natural decision for me. I have always driven Volvos (except for a small and regrettable hiccup after college when I purchased a Honda), so after a less-than-pleasant few years driving that particular make of vehicle, I returned to Volvos with a deeper appreciation of not only the quality and reliability of Volvos in general, but the customer service at Herb Gordon. The courteous atmosphere and sincere concern (for the vehicle as well as its driver) were just two of the many things that I had taken for granted when I had my Honda, so I was quite pleased (and felt a million times safer) to be back...that was four years ago.

I recently found myself in need of a new car and (yet again) did not hesitate to go to Herb Gordon Volvo. Jim Boratenski was very patient with me as we mulled over the many options to consider when buying a new or used vehicle. He and Bryan Liddiard made the experience thoroughly enjoyable and dare I say, fun. I would definitely recomend them to any prospective buyer and have already commented to a friend on my incredibly positive experience.

My Review of MileOne Herb Gordon Volvo:
Can't say enough about how great is was purchasing a used vehicle from Jim and the Herb Gordon Volvo Team. My wife and I were on a pretty strict budget, knew exactly the car we wanted (we found it on-line) but had no idea what to expect when we contacted Jim about the sale. Jim was wonderful, very competent and extremely easy to work with. He promptly returned our calls and emails and even made a special trip (past Baltimore) to retrieve the vehicle we wanted. He and Al(sales manager)gave us a great price, but didn't treat us any differently than the customers purchasing luxury cars costing four/five times what we were paying.

These guys know (and appreciate) cars. They're honest, fair, and seem to really enjoy what they do. I know we'll be back if/when we opt for a new Volvo or Suburu. And we'll definitely recommend them to anyone who asks. Thanks Jim!

The dealer went the extra mile to make the sale a win-win for him and us. This was our fourth Volvo. We are happy with the dealer and double ditto for the vehicles. We came prepared to make a sale and the dealer wowed us with the current incentives being offered by Volvo. The 5 year service sold us on a second Volvo within 2 months.

I bought my 2007 Volvo s40 right before Christmas and couldn't be happier with the service that I received at Mile One. Jim Boratenski and his crew worked so hard to find exactly what I was looking for. When I first went in they didn't have the exact color or year that I was looking for, and after weeks and weeks searching far and wide Jim found my dream car! Everyone at Mile One was extremely friendly and very easy to work with, I would recommend this dealer to anyone!

I am very impressed with the staff at Herb Gordon Volvo. They treated me like a valued customer. I never felt that they were pressuring me into a purchase, they answered my questions very honestly and they offered valuable insights into the car I bought. My sales representative, Jon Hulsizer, was very friendly and made me feel like he was interested in my business - he wanted to help me purchase the car that would best meet my needs. My only regret is that I did not have the time to take the free trip to Sweden to pick up my car!

Jon Hulsizer is an excellent salesperson. He listened to our requests and found the new Volvo that met our needs. While they did not have a car in stock with all of the options we wanted, Jon found one in the metropolitan area and made it available in just one day. All the staff at Herb Gordon that we dealt with were very helpful and friendly.

My Review of MileOne Herb Gordon Volvo:
Mr. Hulsizer was very inforamtive, welcoming, friendly, and patient throughout our shopping experience. We had gone into the dealership to simply look at the C70 and he made it possible for the car to sell itself. Had he applied a lot of pressure, as car salesmen sometimes do, we would have simply fled the showroom and not returned. Instead, we returned the next week and bought the car.

This same welcoming, friendly, and helpful attitude was displayed by all the staff at Herb Gordon, from the General Manager to the Receptionist. Doing business with them was truly a pleasure. I am already planning on returning there next year to look at the S80.

I am happy to rate Jon Hulsizer and Herb Gordon a 5 in all categories. It was a pleasure to work with Jon during the purchase of my Volvo XC90. I truly appreciated his professionalism, patience and enthusiam. I enjoyed doing my initial research and inquiries with Jon via email. He was always responsive and directly answered all of my questions. By the time I arrived at the dealership I knew exactly what I wanted and was prepared to buy the car that day as long as things went smoothly during the test drive and negotiations. Things could not have gone better! Jon was pleasant throughout and made purchasing my car a very positive experience.
