My Review of Millennium Toyota:
HA! Quite honestly, I think the whole bashing of a dealership scenerio is pretty pathetic, BUT I was advised to look at it before I purchased my vehicle. I am SO happy, I did not listen to these ruthless, cheap, uneducated and PISS-POOR negative comments people have left about Millennium Toyota. Even after reading all these comments from people who obviously need lives and have way too much time on their hands, I visited Millennium Toyota. I was approached by a salesperson, (who out of respect, even though they did an outstanding job, I will not publicize the name). I was interested in a 2009 Toyota Corolla. The salesperson took me up to the 4th floor and did a full walk-around on the vehicle. When was the last time you life-less consumers get a full 1 hour walk around on a car of your choice? Most dealerships jump on you like vulchers and just want your credit card. Side note - for all you people who posted how you were treated like caged animals, this is a business, a place of work, are you looking for tea and crumpets? Honestly? Needless to say, my sales person answered every question I had to the fullest extend and went went back downstairs and worked numbers. Not only did my sales person make me feel so welcome, and DID by the way offer me something to drink (AND BOUGHT ME A SODA), but they also did understand this was a large purchase for me and allowed me to think my transaction through. I have to say, I am not in sales, but I feel for people in sales. All of you bashers want to critize the sales representatives for their eagerness for a sale, but for all you STROKERS out there, put yourself in their shoes. Again, yes, for us who are not in sales it is hard to understand, but these people put up with tonssssssssssssss of bull**** from the consumers. Cheap, paranoid, munipulative, indecisive, condesending CONSUMERS.

So for all of you people reading these posts, of course, every experience varies, but honestly.... these people ARE trying to treat you with the utmost respect, but why don't you selfish people put yourselves in their shoes. My sales rep. told me they work 8-9 practically 5 days a week, Saturdays and Sundays - have some damn courtesy.

HAPPY CAR SHOPPING ALL!

My Review of Millennium Toyota:
Looking for a car for my newly licensed daughter, had been all over the tri state area looking for a nice low mileage corolla. Called Millenium because they had the one she wanted listed on Cars.com. Spoke to John, he said he had the car on the lot and took my cell phone number to call me if something changed while we were on our way. We were driving out to Hempstead from North Jersey. We get there, he takes us to the lot and states the car has been sold. I asked him why he didn't call me on my cell, he stated that I said I was open to look at other cars. Thats true, AFTER I looked at the blue one I had come out to see. With the price of gas where it is, I was livid. I am not about to give one dime to an organization that lied to me. I spent the entire Memorial Day weekend dealing with more BS from car dealers. Drove back to NJ and bought a beautiful low mileage Corolla from a Mazda dealer here in my town. Not the color she wanted, but she is thrilled with it. That also saved me having to pay for the worthless "Certified Used Vehicle" warranty. These cars go forever, I'll take my chances and not pay an extra grand for a warranty I don't want. These dealers need to learn that not every consumer is stupid enough to fall for their lies to get you in to the showroom. If you get me there under false pretenses, there will be no deal. He was heard to be complaining loudly about us to fellow salesmen as we walked back to our car. A real class act. Run don't walk from this place!!!

My Review of Millennium Toyota:
i was taken for the biggest sucker ever by this place a few years back i finance a toyota camry 1998, i got into a very bad car accident... my insurance was going to pay off my loan so i went back to finance another car, the dealer folded the contract at the top for a 2000 camry. me thinking it was a finance signed it like and idiot. 1 month later i read the paper work and realized i got a lease not a finance like i wanted FOR A USED CAR 385 A MONTH FOR 5 YRS... A FREAKING LEASE!!!! i was paying for PIECE OF CRAP USED CAR AS IF IT WAS A BRAND NEW BMW. once they realize they had not receive payment from the ins. they offered to take the car back. when i took it back they had already recived a check for the other car and refused to take the car back like they promised they would. i couldnt afford the car so i turned it back and they fucked up my credit. i will neverrrrrr recomment this place to no one EVER!!!!! THEY SUCK!!! and it u go in compare to other dealers and realize the over price.

My Review of Millennium Toyota:
My husband and I visited this dealership on a Friday night hoping to just get the monthly payment on the lease of a Camry. We explained to our salesman that we were pressed for time (our children were home with a babysitter). Even after being upfront with him we got the same sales run-around (i.e. what can I do to earn your business today, what can we do to have you drive away today in a car, these prices are only good for today, etc...). We spoke to the salesman a few days later and told him we are now considering purchasing and asked him to have the information ready for any leftover 2008's. When we arrived he showed us the only one left but we didn't like the color. I asked him to work up prices for a 2009 in Gray. After wasting another 30 minutes with him justifying the "mandatory NYS fees" (which, of course, are in addition to the purchase price of the car), he asked my husband to sign our offer to show we were serious. He refused to sign anything which now created another issue. He finally presented our "unsigned" offer to the "financial people" and returned to congratulate us on our purchase of a Camry LE. When my husband looked at the papers, 2008 Camry LE was written on it with SPOT (Special Price Of Today). I was now in this dealership for 1 hour with two children just to be given a price on a car I clearly stated I did NOT want. After walking out, a sales manager approached our car as we pulled out of our parking spot. He asked us why we walked out and said "you couldn't give a little??" I then told him that had his salesman listened to me I may still be in the building. He waved me off and told me to "just go, just leave". In all of my experiences purchasing a car, I have never come across such unprofessional, rude behavior on the part of a salesman and sales MANAGER!!! In the end, I drove 26 miles from my home to SMITHTOWN TOYOTA and received wonderful service, no pressure, and amazingly no "mandatory NYS fees" as claimed at Millenium.

Sorry I forgot to mention That this Moron Gary was also my salesman! He was a pure idiot. There is a science behind sales.. What good is a salesman, if he cant even steer you into the sale.. Give us the tools to make the decision. Cut out the idiot in the middle and give me his commission. I will sell myself a car.

My Review of Millennium Toyota:
Its like a meat market at this place. The salesman was rude because I told him I was not ready to buy. I was however, and went to a another dealership. A good rule is that everyone that comes in to your place is a potential sale. You dont turn away sales!

My Review of Millennium Toyota:
Dealt with a nice young salesman who seemed at the mercy of the multiple sales managers who came over to take their turn negotiating. If you like negotiating with sales managers, you'll have fun with these guys. Typical claims you've heard before - "These cars last a long time, in fact I have one that has (fill in blank) hundred thousand miles on it.." An attempt by one manager at a bait and switch was foiled. Plus the typical visit to the finance manager who was not aggressive - I think he realized I wasn't interested in an overpriced extended warranty that most likely didn't allow for Toyota parts, etc. And most importantly, a sales manager who apologized, but couldn't get the price approved by the more "senior sales manager" even though he agreed to it.

I did have one very big complaint that royally pissed me off, and all potential customers should be aware of it after they agree on a price. After I agreed on a price for my Toyota, which was quoted "$xxxxx plus tax plus fees", I learned that "fees" was not DMV fees only. They try to tack on a $375 "destination fee" and a $375 "prep fee". The ploy is that they take another bite at the apple, and you are so worn down that you give. I was furious, and refused to pay it, and thus started another lengthy negotiation with yet another "manager". I think they stuck me with $112. Total underhanded and dishonest behavior, not to mention the absolute ridiculousness of the extra fees!

Maybe it's because I don't typically buy used cars, but with the exception of the salesman and one manager, the other people in the sales room are certainly not the creme of the crop. While experiencing the back and forth of the "..let me check with the manager..", I watched as one of the idle salesman ate an entire package of vanilla oreo cookies. Also, the use of the F-word was standard vocabulary by nearly everyone in the showroom - I felt like I was sitting in the back room of the Bada Bing.

Lastly, after I drove home, I realized there was no manual in the car (so much for the accuracy of the Car-fax report - it's probably a flood car) - so now let's see if they come up with that.

My Review of Millennium Toyota:
I went to three other Dealerships before landing at Millennium Toyota. We were tired of the bullshit games these dealershipships play and by the time we got to Millennium, we had little if any, faith that they would do the right thing for us. We were wrong. From the minute Joanne greeted us, we were treated like family. She was warm, caring and very informative. She took her time and treated us with respect. She was able to answer all questions on the vehicle and we felt very confortable with her. We decided to buy on the spot, and as a matter of fact, we paid a little more there than the prices that were quoted to us by Atlantic Toyota and Advantage. It was worth the few extra dollars, they deserved it. I dont think the other dealerships would have delivered the car at the quoted prices, anyway. After we bought the car, we sat with the finance director, Frank Pugliese. Unlike other finance guys I had dealth with in the past, Frank was professional, to the point and spared us all the Mickey Mouse gaes all the other stores play. We decide to purchae the extended srvie contract nd maintenane pln rom him s I se benefit in having that coverage. Frank was abl to daw up th ontracts an get us out of there in two hours. His sense of humor mde the visi even more memorable. He was great guy. I highly recommend this Dealership, Joanne and Frank. Stay away from those other Toyota Dealerships. I would.

My Review of Millennium Toyota:
Rich the salesman was hard working and gave us a very good reason to buy a RAV 4 rather than a Sienna. He ran the numbers, they looked good and compared to the ad we had. Then it was contract time and his sales manager changed everything. After two hours of him going back and forth, his managers using pressure tactics, they finially agreed to the advertised price. We had to come back to see the finance person. Ugh! There were extra costs added and the 1% finance charge was disregarded. We had adds from other dealers and a calculator to show them our numbers. After going back and forth for another two hours, we finially agreed on the price and the 1% finance charge.

We were told if we recommend customers and they purchase, we get one months free car payment. Ha! Try and collect. Phone calls are not returned and there is a rude tone from the people taking messages for Mr. Schneider.

We have owned Toyotas for 20 years and this was a first at Millennium. In the future we will go back to Westburry!
