Reason for Visit: Sales (New)

I recommend this dealer: No

My Review of Miller Toyota:
I went in with my own financing and after telling them repeatedly that I was not interested in their financing (four times) they still tried to run an unauthorized credit check on me in an effort to offer me their company financing. They went back and forth about how I'm a lucky lady to get the price that I bargained for (650 below MSRP) and then tried everything in their power to prolong the visit and have me fill out credit applications. As if I'm stupid and can't read. I respect that they are trying to make the dealer and themselves the most money possible in a poor economy, but I came it with a solid understanding of the poor sales performance of Toyota over the past few months and knew that I had the upper hand by securing my financing through an outside source. They even said some crap about how I needed to give them my SS# before I would receive the buyer's order. The guy said it was the law. When I asked to see the CA state law stating this, he then retracted his statement and said it was the dealer's policy. With the final lie being well established by this band of idiots, I left the dealer prepared to file a complaint and spread the news about my experience on any website I could find. I guess their tactics work on some poor soul, otherwise, why would they continue to do it. But I would avoid this dealer at all cost.

My Review of Miller Toyota:
This dealership is a joke. We went to test drive a Yaris Liftback and the salesperson (Edwin?) immediately tried to sell us on it for $304 a month over 60 months. For a Yaris? Are you kidding? He tried the "gas is going up, these cars sell fast bit." Don't waste your time here. Read my reviews on Penske and Power Cerritos instead, and go in with some research!

I recommend this dealer: No

My Review of Miller Toyota:
I was in the market for a new Prius. I called 10 dealers in the area and got price quotes from all. I decided that after talking with Homi about 6 times over the phone, and getting a price quote, to come down and buy from this dealership. Now, I had called 6 times, and was quoted a price of $300 below MSRP. Most dealres in the area were very close in price, and some were even offering $500 off MSRP (it was the end of the year). After driving 30 minutes to the dealer, test driving the car and sitting down to buy the car at the agreed upon price, which Homi confirmed with me at his desk, he went to go talk to his manager, William. William came in and said they couldn't do the price and wouldn't take anything off the MSRP. I told him the deal that Homi and I had agreed upon and the 6 phone calls, and that I was quoted the price right before driving down to the dealership, and William didn't care. Made no attempt to deal with me and said that he would not budge. When I complained that they bait and switched me and was extreemly unhappy, they offered me 2 free oil changes. Keep in mind I live nowhere near the dealer. Homi then said that he could take $50 off. All of which I refused and let them know about their unscrupulous business practices. Homi even had the nerve to call me when I left the lot and say that someone else was looking at the vehicle and that if I wanted it, I better hurry back. I told him that he already lied to me before and that there was no way I would believe him again. I then drove to Toyota of Hollywood and bought the same car, for a cheaper price than they had lied to me about. Hollywood Toyota took $500 off the MSRP immediately.
Miller Toyota will lie to you to get your business. They have no regard for trust or their customer. They will lie to you to get you into the dealer.

My Review of Miller Toyota:
They are efficient, friendly, get you in and out quickly. I've been taking my 1996 Toyota Rav 4 to them for years after getting annoyed with the dealer service center in Marina del Rey. Have not had a bad experience with Mike Miller in Culver City.
