My Review of Mini of Mountain View:
I've had several problems with my '03 Mini Cooper S, but when I lived in the Bay Area, Mtn View Mini was awesome. Even though it is not policy, once they gave me a loaner 325.

Another time, my windshield cracked (!) while it was on their lot (100 degree weather, maybe there was a chip?). I didn't really expect them to pay for it (maybe do the labor for free), but they called the manager and did a one time complete free replacement. This was awesome!

This, in contrast to South Bay Mini (Redondo Beach), which has real jerks in the service department. See my comment there for more details.

My Review of Mini of Mountain View:
Well, they are friendly as can be, but in a very superficial and non-helpful way. Once you get beyond the veneer, they're doing things for their own convenience. When dealing with these people, you are "only the customer" and they'll do things however suits them best. It's really too bad that they only care about the surface appearance of "customer care". I don'tknow how other dealers compare, but if you have an alternative and a reason to believe they'll act as if they give a damn, go there, not here.

Much better than Mini of SF, but not great. I've had problems that take 3+ trips to resolve. Always VERY friendly, but just too busy and not the most helpful.
