My Review of Mossy Nissan:
I test drove a 2008 Nissan Versa with CVT this past Sat.April 12, 2008. Loved the car, went in to "work the numbers" We reached an agreeable price after about four hours. I said I needed to think about it and work it out with my insurance. I received several calls from the salesman ( a friend of my best friend) and I was told that the incentives offered to me today would only be available today. I finally agree to come back in and purchase the car. As I am preparing to leave, I get a call stating the car in the color I desired is not on the lot. I can choose from an onyx blue or a white one. I choose the blue one and asked if it had the same features on the car I test drove. Well, it had some but not all. I had a sinking feeling that I was instore for a BAIT and SWITCH! And that IS exactly what happened. The car they proposed to present to me, which was still not on the lot and in storage, was the base model!!!! And then the sales manager had the audacity to tell me that I could get a car on the lot for a much higher price, and it would only cost me about $30 more per month, and that's only $15 more per paycheck!!! When added up that car was 2000.00 more dollars than what we had originally negotiated. And I was going to put $1000 down. So where was my gain? I am still steaming from this horrible experience. I have told MANY friends and strangers about this horribly outrageous experience with this dealership. I advise anyone wanting to do business with this dealership to be very careful.
A Very disappointed consumer!

My Review of Mossy Nissan:
They're the only game in town (San Diego). Took my Altima in for an oil change and to find out what the shrill raspying sound (did I mention "loud") sound coming from the front wheel was. Service manager listened carefully to me, then tried to sell me $900 worth of fluids change -- brakes, a/c, auto trans, etc.! I declined. When I returned several hours later, the oil was changed, but they said they werent able to hear the sound -- which shrieked out as I turned the wheel to drive the car off the lot. The fluid change must have been the thing to sell that day!

My Review of Mossy Nissan:
They did not have a car on the lot that I was interested in, but their computer showed 3 such cars at nearby Mossy dealerships (within the same system). The salesperson refused to tell which dealership would have those cars, or even to take me there - instead, they wanted me to wait for an hour for them to bring the car over!

Extremely unhelpful.
