My Review of Mtn View Ford, Lincoln, Mercury:
My wife bought her car at Mtn. View ford in 2003. We have had it serviced there ever since. I have also had my F-150 serviced ther as well. We knew that it costs a little more to get your vehicle serviced at a dealership but thought it was worth it because they would always repair it on the same day and knew what they were doing. Last Thursday evening my wife took her Ford Focus in to have a noise checked out and to get an oil change. She was called at 10:30 a.m. by Gary the next morning and told the noise was a loose plastic guard under the front of the car and that the oil had been changed. The price was $85.00 for checking out and repairng the loose guard and $27.99 fo the oil change. We were told the vehicle was ready to be picked up and the total was about $112.00 before tax. He also said that the front brakes needed replacing for $179.00 but we chose to wait on that untill another time.
We had to go to the hospital and told him we would pick up the car later Friday or Saturday morning. We were called again at 1:30 P.M. by Gary. I spoke to him this time and he told me that the car was ready and the price was $240.00. I knew that he had told my wife that it was $112.00 earlier and that the car was ready but I hadn't spoken to him so I told him that I would have her call him back. When she called him back to explain how the price had more than doubled. He said that they had done a software update on the cars computer and that he was not aware of it before. They are supposed to call before they do any repairs to get authorization like they had done earlier with the brakes but we received no such phone call. When we went in Saturday morning to pick up the car the cashier and the other worker on duty could not help us. We were told that if she wanted to get the car we had to pay and that she could call back on Monday to speak to the service manager. We went ahead and paid because my wife neede her vehicle to get to work. When she called the service manager on Monday he was rude and told her that since she had signed some paper that she had to pay and that she needed to pay attention to what she signed. We will not be buying any more cars from this dealership or using it for service. If you do take your vehicle there to get serviced don't beleive what they tell you on the phone or in person. It is what is in the 6 page paper they make you sign to get your vehicle back that matters. When you go to the cashier to pay you can see all these letters with positive feedback on the corkboard. That made me laugh because we were having an issue and couldn't get it resolved or even get a decent explanation while we were standing here in front of this corkboard full of these nice letters thanking them for doing such a great job.

Shopping at MTN View Ford for our first new (preowned) car has been a great experience. Our sales representative Rodney Grimes did a terrific job explaining to us what needed to be done and how. Everything was done as quickly as possible and we left the dealership that same day in our new vehicle feeling very satisfied. Would we recommend this dealership? Absolutely!

After speaking with Mr. Irwin the service issue with my used vehicle was handled immediately and to my total satisfaction. The part was replaced at no cost to me at all. I would recommend that anyone looking for a good quality new or used car go see Don Irwin at Mt. View Ford.

They were very helpful with helping me obtain my car. It was pouring rain and Rodney did everything so that I could stay dry. The car that I purchased was right for my circumstances and for its great gas milage. I would definately advise anyone to go to Mountain View.

Shaun addressed ans assesed my needs and requirements very quickly. He understood and respected my limitations and worked within those requirements. As a result our dire transportation situation was resolved rapidly and efficiently. He did his job superbly.

Sales men were friendly during intial sale process, however felt it was un-professional to be emailing and txting when out on test drive and when taking credit application information. After sale was finanlized never saw sales men again. Vehicle was cleaned on the outside, but the inside was left dirty, had to take it and pay myself for the inside to get cleaned because I could not get the sales men back on the phone to see about bringing it back in to get cleaned.

Rodney Grimes is a great salesman. I used him two years ago when I bought my 2006 Ford Fusion SEL. I remembered him and contacted him to help me buy a 2009 Ford Mustand GT and my husband's 2008 Ford F-150 FX2 sport truck. Rodney is great at returning phone calls and making sure the customer gets what they want. I love Mountain View Ford because they are willing to stay late if they want someone to purchase a vehicle. I have been to other Ford dealers and they were closing the doors and leaving before closing time and would not stay to discuss a deal etc.

These guys did a great job from start to finish,not standing over you,yet very helpful.They have a great selection of automobiles too choose from.If you don't find something you like here,your not looking.But if you don't find what you want to buy,these guys are more than willing to hunt it down for you.I would recommend these guys to any and everyone.Ill be back.Thanks guys.

Rodney Grimes was very courteous and professional. He did a great job.
We love our truck. We will recommend him to others and look forward to trading with him next time. He was able to find a keyless entry remote for the truck.
I didn't give "5" on the ratings because the body shop didn't as you say... "exceed my expectations." There were a few scratches on the tailgate that could have been buffed out with very little effort.
